My mother and Issella's father are siblings, and I was a bit rebellious right from the start, so my other cousins didn't like me much, and I wasn't fond of them either. My Maternal granny didn't like Issella's mother; she opposed their marriage. However, Issella's father was so in love with Issella's mother that he, for the first time, opposed his mother and married his love anyway.
My granny doesn't like Issella because she looks exactly like her mother and nothing like her father. Granny never loved her, Issella's father didn't show love to her either.
She tried to copy her father,thinking it would earn her acknowledgment from him, and a kid who used to be so warm and full of emotions started hiding her feelings. She thought that displaying them would make her weak.
