Zane rolled the ball towards the pins on the lane. When all the pins were knocked down on the first roll, they all yelled, "Zane!!!" with great joy and excitement. They dashed to Zane and hugged, forming a circle in the large play area.
Zane's phone displayed a notification. He checked, and the time displayed was two a.m., with a notification from the university. "What's up, Zane?" Kenzie inquired, as he stared at his phone. "Good news," he said before leaving to pick up the food his friends had bought for dinner. While the rest of them shifted the furniture aside, they planned to eat their dinner on the floor rather than in a dining room. Even though it's a bowling alley, everything is designed to meet their specific needs, such as the dining hall in a separate room with restaurant-style dining, the private bedroom, and access restrictions for the rest.
On the other hand, Zane went for a walk to his car. It suddenly began to drizzle, and he paused in between. He was looking at the car rather than approaching it. "Zane, listen to the silence. It will give you the answer you're looking for," he heard the voice again. It was as if someone was whispering in his ears. The wind is too strong, but it is neither the sound of it nor the sad eerie sound of the trees. "The silence speaks louder than the words. Zane, can you hear it?" Zane's voice grew softer.
“Zane!” but this time he heard the voice from behind. He turned to face Selah, standing near the front door. “Zane. It’s drizzling. Hurry up. Grab the food and come inside or else you will catch a cold," she said, waiting for him near the door. He came back to senses and approached the car, took the Carry bags on which it displays the Mc Donald’s logo, and closed the door. When he reached the front door, Selah took one of the bags. “It’s not that much. You could’ve just stayed inside,” Zane was concerned. “I could have. But I would love to accompany you even if it’s just to the next door,” her smile was assuring.
He returned the smile, and they entered after locking the front door. They sat in a circular pattern with the food items in the center. Unwrapping the food items beginning with the Pepperoni pizza, The In-N-Out Double-Double, a West Coast favorite, features two beef patties, two slices of cheese, and fresh toppings.
Nashville Hot Chicken is a spicy, deep-fried dish coated in hot chili oil, typically served on white bread with pickles. The BLT, a classic sandwich, features crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, and ripe tomato, often served on toasted bread. And a bottle of California Cabernet Sauvignon is a full-bodied red wine known for its rich dark fruit flavors and robust characteristics. When Lian took the bottle to share, he couldn't find the glasses, so he asked, "Were you only assigned one job? But you cannot even do that?" He noticed her swallowing the In-N-Out Double-Double burger. "Kenzie! "Where are the glasses?""I forgot. I'm sorry," she said, taking another large bite. "Mmmmm..." she was in her own world, savoring the taste of the In-N-Out Double-Double burger. Selah chuckled as Kenzie ate, as if she couldn't hear Lian, despite the fact that Lian was sitting next to Selah, directly opposite Kenzie. "I will get that." Selah stood and walked to the dining hall. "Are you even bothered about us starving?" Lian inquired aloud. "It's damn good!" Ridge was also enjoying the chicken. "You both!" Lian yelled. Selah laughed while she grabbed the glasses.
Don't bother. Come have a taste of this Nashville Hot Chicken," Ridge drew chicken closer to Kenzie's mouth. She took a bite and shook her head, agreeing with Ridge on the taste. "How do they act the same way whenever there is food?" Lian inquired aloud. While Selah poured the California Cabernet Sauvignon wine into the glasses, Ridge said, "Maybe we were made for each other," wrapped his arm around Kenzie's shoulder, and took a bite of her burger. She immediately moved her hand away from him and took another bite. Her behaviour even made Zane laugh as he was lost in his thoughts from time to time. "Zane. What is the good news?" Kenzie asked.
