Azrael's eyes locked onto Azara's, his secrets trembling on the precipice.

"Tell me," Azara whispered, her voice a gentle breeze.

Azrael's defenses crumbled.

"My mother left when I was 10," he began, his voice cracking.

Azara's hands wrapped around his.

"She said she'd return, but never did. My father... he didn't care."

The words spilled forth, a tidal wave of pain.

"His indifference hurt more than her abandonment."

Azara's tears mingled with Azrael's.

"I've spent years wondering why," Azrael confessed.

Azara's lips brushed against his cheek.

"You deserve love, Azrael."

As they held each other, the hidden room's secrets dissipated.

Azara's voice whispered soft reassurance.

"You're not alone, Azrael. I'm here."
