As dinner preparations continued, Adrien and Nathalie started bickering over a trivial matter. Their playful banter escalated into a full-blown argument.

"I can't believe you're being so stubborn, Adrien!" Nathalie exclaimed.

"Me? You're the one being unreasonable!" Adrien shot back.

Gabriel, sensing the tension, stepped in to mediate. "Hey, hey, let's not fight about this. It's not worth it."

But Adrien and Nathalie were too caught up in their disagreement to listen. Their voices grew louder, until finally, Gabriel firmly intervened.

"Enough! Both of you, stop. This is ridiculous."

The room fell silent, with Adrien and Nathalie glaring at each other. Gabriel took a deep breath and continued, "We're a family. We support each other. Let's not let petty arguments come between us."

Nathalie looked away, her eyes welling up with tears. Adrien crossed his arms, still visibly upset.

Gabriel gently placed a hand on each of their shoulders. "Let's start again. We can work through this together."

Slowly, Adrien and Nathalie nodded, their anger dissipating. They hugged, making amends.

As they sat down to eat, the atmosphere was still a bit tense. But Gabriel's calming presence helped to ease the strain.

"Let's make a rule," Gabriel said, smiling. "No more fighting at the dinner table. We save that for the soccer field."

Adrien chuckled, and Nathalie smiled weakly. They began to pass dishes and serve themselves, the silence now comfortable.

As they ate, Gabriel asked about their day, sharing stories and laughter. Adrien and Nathalie gradually relaxed, their earlier argument forgotten.

After dinner, Nathalie helped with the dishes while Adrien went to his room. Gabriel joined Nathalie at the sink, putting his arms around her.

"Thanks for understanding, Nathalie. We're in this together."

Nathalie leaned into him, feeling grateful. "I love you, Gabriel."

"I love you too," he replied, kissing her forehead.

As they finished the dishes, Nathalie turned to Gabriel and wrapped her arms around his neck. "I'm so grateful for you," she said, smiling.

Gabriel smiled back, hugging her tight. "I'm grateful for you too, Nathalie."

In a playful move, Nathalie climbed onto Gabriel's back, piggyback-style, making him laugh. "Whoa, you're getting heavy!" he teased.

Just then, Adrien walked back into the kitchen, his mouth open in shock. "Whoa, Nathalie! You're...um...really showing off your climbing skills!"

Nathalie giggled, her face flushed. "Hey, someone's got to keep things interesting around here!"

Gabriel chuckled, spinning around with Nathalie still on his back. "I think we've got that covered!"

Adrien shook his head, laughing. "You two are something else."

Gabriel grinned mischievously. "You know what? I think we need a family game night. Something to keep this energy going!"

Nathalie slid off his back, clapping her hands. "Yes! That sounds amazing!"

Adrien nodded enthusiastically. "I'm in! What games do we have?"

Gabriel thought for a moment. "How about Monopoly? We can play teams."
