Adrik's gaze pierced through me like a dagger, his eyes burned with a ferocious intensity that made my blood run cold. The darkness in them seemed to grow as he stalked towards me, his every step echoing with menace. I sprang from my seat and recoiled in terror, my heart racing like a wild animal desperate to escape. But my attempt to flee only seemed to inflame his fury, his anger erupting like a volcano as he closed in on me.
"Move an inch from there and see what I'll do to you," Adrik said in a warning tone, his voice low and menacing. But instead of cowering, his words had the opposite effect - I stood my ground, my heart pounding in defiance. He took a step closer, his face inches from mine, and I could feel his warm breath on my skin. Then, in a surprising contrast to his harsh words, he gently touched my cheek, his fingers wiping away my tears with a softness that belied the intensity in his eyes.
"Why do you have to be so mesmerizing?" he growled, his hands wrapping around my throat in a brutal grasp.
He leaned in closer, his lips inches from mine. "I don't know if I should kiss you or stab you," he muttered, his breath hot against my skin.
As those words left his mouth, fear like no other consumed me, suffocating me with its crushing weight.
"You're a constant torment, a never-ending contradiction," he growled, his grip on my throat tightening. "Half of me wants to devour you, to claim your lips and consume your soul. The other half wants to destroy you, to snuff out the flame that burns so brightly within you."
His eyes blazed with a fierce intensity, his voice dripping with venom. "I'm torn between kissing you and killing you, between worshipping you and destroying you. You're a poison that courses through my veins, a madness that drives me to the brink of sanity."
His breath was hot against my skin, his words sending shivers down my spine. "I don't know which half will win, but one thing's certain: you'll be the death of me, or I'll be the death of you."
Just as his lips were about to crash onto mine, he repelled me with a sudden, savage force, sending me stumbling backward like a insignificant insect. My gaze, still reeling from the shock, instinctively darted to the forgotten couple.
"Mr. and Mrs. Jenkins were crumpled on the floor, her frantic hands desperately trying to stem the bleeding from his ravaged eyes. Adrik stood over them, his voice dripping with malice. 'You see, I told you that she was mine!! So what still have you the audacity to look at her. Adrik asked
"His gaze burned with an unholy intensity, his eyes blazing like hot coals as he gazed down at them. 'You think me a beast, a creature driven solely by instinct? You're right. And now, you'll witness the full extent of my savagery.'
"The knife in Adrik's hand seemed to pulse with a life of its own, as if eager to strike . Mrs. Jenkins' terrified sobs only fueled his fury, her pleas for mercy falling on deaf ears. 'Your tears are music to my ears,' Adrik hissed, his breath hot with excitement. 'Your fear is intoxicating.'
"Adrik's eyes gleamed with sadistic pleasure as he dropped the small table knife on the floor, the blade glinting in the dim light like a serpent's tooth. 'Pick it up,' he taunted Mrs. Jenkins, his voice dripping with malice, each word a venomous whisper that sent shivers down her spine.
"Mrs. Jenkins' gaze was frozen on the knife, her mind recoiling in horror at the unspeakable act he was demanding. Her eyes darted to her husband, then back to Adrik, her face contorted in a mixture of terror and desperation, as if she was trapped in a living nightmare.
"With a trembling hand, Mrs. Jenkins reached out and picked up the knife, her fingers closing around it like a vice. Her eyes fixed on her husband's ravaged face, her expression a mask of anguish, as if she was being torn apart by an unseen force.
"Adrik's gaze was riveted on her, his eyes burning with an unholy intensity, his presence suffocating, making it hard for her to breathe. 'Do it,' he hissed, his breath hot with excitement, his voice a cold wind that sent shivers down her spine. 'Cut off his head, and you'll never have to see me again.'
"The air was heavy with tension, the silence punctuated only by the soft, labored breathing of the wounded Mr. Jenkins, his one good eye was fixed on his wife with a pleading expression, as if begging her to spare his life. Mrs. Jenkins' hand trembled, the small knife wavering in her grasp, as if she was torn between her love for her husband and her desire to escape the clutches of the monster who stood before her."
"Adrik's gaze shifted back to me, his eyes gleaming with a sinister light. 'Take a seat, Любовь моя,' he said, his voice dripping with malice, as he placed a chair directly in front of the couple. The chair creaked in protest as I hesitantly sat down, my eyes fixed on the horror unfolding before me.
"Mrs. Jenkins' gaze was still fixed on the tiny knife in her hand, her expression a mask of terror and desperation. Her husband's eye, on the other hand, was fixed on me, pleading for help, for intervention, for a miracle.
"Adrik's eyes never left mine as he spoke, his voice low and menacing. 'Watch closely, Любовь моя. This is what happens to those who cross me.'

Mrs. Jenkins' hand trembled, the knife wavering in her grasp, as if she was torn between her love for her husband and her desire to escape the clutches of the monster who stood before her.
"And then, in a movement that seemed almost involuntary, Mrs. Jenkins raised the knife, the tiny blade glinting in the dim light. Adrik's eyes gleamed with excitement, his presence suffocating, making it hard for me to breathe."
"Mrs. Jenkins' hand trembled as she raised the knife, her eyes fixed on her husband's ravaged face. Adrik's gaze was riveted on her, his eyes burning with an unholy intensity. I felt a chill run down my spine as I realized that I was about to witness a horror beyond my wildest imagination.
"The knife hovered above Mr. Jenkins' neck, his eye pleading for mercy. Mrs. Jenkins' face was contorted in a mixture of terror and desperation, her breath coming in short gasps. Adrik's voice was low and menacing, urging her on.
"Do it," he hissed. "Cut off his head, and you'll never have to see me again."
"The silence was oppressive, punctuated only by the soft, labored breathing of the wounded man. Mrs. Jenkins' hand trembled, the knife wavering in her grasp. And then, in a movement that seemed almost involuntary, she began to saw at her husband's neck, the tiny blade glinting in the dim light.
"I felt a scream building in my throat, but it was frozen in place, unable to escape. Adrik's eyes were gleaming with excitement, his presence suffocating, making it hard for me to breathe. The horror unfolding before me was like nothing I had ever seen before."
"The sound of the knife sawing through flesh and bone was like a nightmare come to life. Mrs. Jenkins' face was contorted in a mixture of terror and desperation, her eyes fixed on her husband's face as if searching for forgiveness. Mr. Jenkins' eyes, on the other hand, were fixed on me, pleading for help, for intervention, for a miracle.
"Adrik's gaze was riveted on the gruesome scene unfolding before him, his eyes burning with an unholy intensity. His presence seemed to fill the room, making it hard for me to breathe, hard for me to think.
"And then, suddenly, it was over. Mrs. Jenkins dropped the knife, her body collapsing forward as if she had been drained of all life. Mr. Jenkins' head lolled to one side, his eyes frozen in a permanent stare.
"Adrik's gaze shifted to me, his eyes gleaming with a sinister light. 'You see, Любовь моя,' he said, his voice dripping with malice. 'This is what happens to those who cross me.'"
