It was a normal day at Ambrosia K-12, until apparently something happened and the building for younger students collapsed from some unknown lighting.. and it ended with the kids aged ten to fourteen now in a building with the kids aged fifteen to eighteen.. and it was chaos.

As the oldest of the class, Defiance, sat at the back, scrolling on his phone, waiting for something to happen, but as the class door opened, a  soft cough came from nearby, he glanced over to see Deacon, a fifteen year old boy, scrambling to put something in his jacket pocket, but his attention got drawn to the man who roughly looked like he was in his late twenties.

"Okay class, calm down for me, and Defiance, put that phone away," The man spoke, causing Defiance to pause, how in the world did this man know his name just as he walked in?- he did as he was told though, not wanting to risk getting his phone taken off him. "Hello class, I am Mr Herald, and I'm your history teacher for this year, since your old one quit," Mr Herald explained, smiling lightly. A few of the kids stared quietly while some gave uneasy looks, unsure about this teacher. "So.. should we get started?- oh, young man?- woman?- uhh.. you with the white hair, can you look over here?-" Mr Herald awkwardly spoke as a girl near the boy tilted his head over to where the teacher was."oh, it's he, and hes blind." She spoke, laughing softly as the boy glanced at her "Arcadia.. why are you holding my head?" He asked, basically staring into her soul,  "cause you were looking in the wrong direction Avenir- that's why.." Arcadia giggles, ruffling his hair "ah.. sorry for that Mr Herald.." Avenir apologised, bowing his head lightly, "hey, it's okay- I weren't aware you were blind-" Mr Herald laughed softly, accepting the apology.

After the lesson was finished, Mr Herald cleared his throat, getting everyone's attention, "okay class, before we leave, I have an announcement.. we are going on a cruise inspired by the Odyssey," he smiled, recieving a few reactions, "now you guys can go home," Mr Herald laughed, watching the students leave, but as the two teens from earlier walked past, he noticed something about Avenir's walking stick.. or staff. It looked.. familiar..? But where from? He waited until they left, leaning against the wall as a sigh escaped. "Why is that staff so familiar?- where have I seen it?-"
