Taylor and Harmony met in the first grade and soon became best friends. Playing video games, passing notes in class, having sleepovers and going on campings, sleeping in tents was something more than natural to them.

"Wanna hang out?" The blonde asked fully knowing the answer already. Harmony was walking her home after school, just as she always did so they could spend with each other even more time.

"Yeah" The brunette nodded happily, interlocking their hands, her cheeks slightly pink.

The school year was ending in few days, meaning they had way much more time than in the middle of school year. They both been looking forward to summer finally starting, it meant they could meet up at any time and any day since their parents didn't give the curfew to them as they used to when school was more intense. Both Taylor's and Harmony's parents knew for sure that having curfew for both of the girls was crucial so they would study, otherwise they would spend every possible moment together, forgetting about school.

"Mom, I'm home! And Harmony's staying over" Taylor announced when they entered her home. Her mom was in the living room, watching some crappy tv show that Taylor always hated when her face lit up as she saw two girls entering the house.

"Harmony! So nice to see you, as always, are you girls hungry? I'll make you some dinner" Andrea said, getting from the sofa and going to the kitchen. She didn't even let them answer if they were hungry but that didn't really matter.

"Come on, we need to finally finish that movie we started a week ago" Taylor tugged on Harmony's hand. They both rushed to her room, throwing their backpacks in the corner of the room. One girl set up the laptop while the other switched on colorful lights Taylor had hung up under the ceiling, they made the whole room colourful and nice to spend time in.

"By the way, remember when in winter I forgot my gloves and you lent me one of yours? I forgot about giving it back to you then but I found it yesterday while clearing up my wardrobe" Taylor chucked throwing burgundy, fluffy material to her best friend.

"Both of us forgot about it" Harmony caught it, laughing. They both knew that this glove would never be returned to her. To be honest, Harmony loved when Taylor borrowed clothes from her. Usually it meant she wouldn't get them back but that somehow made her even more happy. Knowing Taylor is wearing something that's hers was like...a proof. A proof that Taylor was hers. And maybe she was wrong for thinking that way but who will forbid her from doing that?

The movie was almost ending when they both heard Andrea yelling trough the house so they would come down and eat dinner. Taylor rolled her eyes, she didn't want to move since she was cuddling with Harmony, face buried in her hands while brunette was toying with her hair.

"Come on, get up" Harmony chuckled when Taylor didn't seem to be getting up from her seemingly really comfortable position.

"Noo" She groaned, hands tightening around Harmony's waist.

"Get up" The brunette said again, this time her voice more stern but still soft.

"I hate you" Her friend mumbled as she got up and fixed her hair that was a little bit tangled from Harmony playing with it.

And I love you Harmony thought to herself, her words stuck in her mind. Instead of saying this one simple sentence she smirked, "Tag, you're it!" she ran out of her best friend's bedroom hearing Taylor's giggles and footsteps after her.

"How many times do I have to tell you not to run in the house?" Andrea asked, playfully rolling her eyes at the teen-agers that just entered the kitchen. The radio on the counter was playing calm, melodic song, big windows allowing the light to enter the room. Taylor's house was all in bright colors with big windows and amazing paintings on the walls, Harmony loved spending time there. She always felt welcomed there, especially when Andrea made her feel like her own daughter.

"It's not my fault! She started it, she's mentally four, not fourteen" Taylor defended herself while Harmony sticked her tongue at her.

Her mom just laughed at the two "Okay, okay, now please sit and eat" she gestured to the table with food already on the plates.

"Come on, I know your favourite game growing up was Tag, you cannot say you didn't like it" The brunette said as she sat down. Taylor only rolled her eyes at her. After they finished eating they immediately rushed to Taylor's room to get back to cuddling and watching movies.

"Hey, wanna watch the sunset?" Taylor asked, looking up to meet Harmony's eyes.

"How can I say no to that?" She answered smiling. Not even two minutes later, they both were sitting on top of the roof, watching the sun going down. The sky was in beautiful, light pink colour,

"It's so pretty," Taylor was smiling, a spark of happiness in her eyes.

"Yeah.." Harmony answered dreamily, her eyes fixated on Taylor's face.

"Harmony" Taylor laughed when she finally realized the girl next to her was staring at her instead of the sky.

"What?" The brunette avoided her gaze, her cheeks turning slightly pink.

"Nothing, nothing" The blonde quickly said and pulled her into a hug. They both sat in silence, their bodies relaxed against each other, minds free from any problems.

Because when they were together everything else didn't matter. And they loved it. They loved each other, very much, but they still were too young to know how big their feelings were.
