Epilogue 2

DD POV:

After a week, Ananya ran towards the washroom to throw up as she had been feeling uneasy since the morning.

Aniket wasn't at home, and she hadn't informed him that she wasn't feeling well, so she decided not to go out today.

She came out of the washroom, placed her palm on her chest, and thought, What is happening, Mahadev?

Sitting on her bed, her hands trembling and dizziness washing over her, she managed to call Aniket. He picked up after two rings. In a low voice, she said, "Aniket, I-I... Can you come home?"

Sensing the weakness in her voice, he immediately stood up and asked, "Don't hang up the call. Are you okay?"

She replied, "I-I don't know," while resting her head on the pillow.

Aniket quickly drove home, instructing the staff lady to check on her while he was on the way.

After a few minutes, he arrived and rushed to her. Seeing her pale, he held her sweaty hands and knew something was wrong.

Without wasting any more time, Aniket picked her up in his arms and drove to the hospital.

After a while, the doctor came out with a smile and said, "Congratulations, she's pregnant!"

"Pregnant?" Aniket whispered, eyes wide in disbelief.

Ananya looked at him, her thoughts racing. Six weeks? She touched her abdomen and murmured, I didn't even realize...

Aniket, pulling her out of her thoughts, exclaimed, "We're... we're pregnant!" He added, "We're going to be parents!"

Ananya pouted, "I'm the one who's pregnant. What's wrong with you? I have to endure the pain. You'll be busy doing nothing."

Laughing, Aniket replied, "I mean, we're going to have a baby!" His excitement was so evident, it seemed like this was the best news he had ever heard in his entire life.

Shaking his head in disbelief, he rushed to her side, knelt down, held her hands, and asked with concern, "Are you okay?"

She let out a soft laugh and said, "Why are you suddenly so anxious? Relax, Aniket. That should be my line, but never mind."

He chuckled, "Six weeks have passed, and I didn't even notice. How could I not know?"

Ananya reassured him, "It's fine."

Still in disbelief, Aniket muttered, "So many days have passed already." Turning to the doctor, he asked protectively, "Is everything okay with her? Is the baby okay?"

The doctor nodded and replied, "She's fine from the initial tests. We'll do more tests to be sure, but everything looks good."

Aniket let out a breath he hadn't realized he was holding. He turned back to Ananya, kissed her forehead, and assured her, "Trust me, I'll make sure you don't have any problems throughout all the months."

She smiled, "I already know that."

I opened my eyes to see him sleeping while hugging me as he was so protective about me and our baby.

I tried to remove his hands but he insteadly opened his eyes ohho i woke him up

He asked " Do you need something? Is everything okay? " With panic thinking i am not well

I held his hands and interwined my fingers with him and assured my husband " Relax!!! I am okay. Its morning so i was about to go to the washroom. "
