CHAPTER 10 : life

You opened your eyes and with a blurry vision spotted a red head staring at you.

"Where am I??"-you said in a weak voice

"Doctor!...she woke up!"-the redhead shouted

When your vision cleared you recognised that redhead...it was hawks.

"Y/n are you ok??"-he asked

"Hawks?...is that you??.."-you said struggling to get up...it was painful
..bandages were wrapped around you.

"Yes... it's me"-he said helping you to sit up.

You suddenly burst into tears holding his shirt.

"I was so scared.."-you said between sobbing

As a brother figure hawks smiled and hugged you.

"It's ok...now you're safe..I am always there to save you"

He slowly calmed you down.

"Do you know who tried to attack you?did you know how it looked or any other details??"-hawks asked

"I don't know..it was dark... something shadow like ....like the thing all might fought at usj but..it had wings"-you replied

"The nomu.."-he replied

"Nomu?... that's the creature's name ?"-you asked

"Something like that..."-he replied thinking something.

"Oh... what's the time..did I miss school??"-you panicked

"Y/n...you have been unconscious for like a week now"-he replied

"What the heck!!!!....what happened to the group study we also had a test....."-you panicked again

"I texted in the group that you were going somewhere with your father...and you can't attend school nor that study session...and....."-he stopped

"And?"-you asked curiously

"Today is the ua sports festival"-he told in a low voice

"What the fuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...."-you exclaimed in anger and sorrow...you were mixed with disappointment and anger.

You tried to stand up but pain held you back .

You were practicing hard for the sports festival.

You were sad but inside you knew that you can't go.

You sat with open wide eyes ...and complete silence.

"Next year it will come again... don't worry ..and I already submitted a petition that you had an emergency..."-he said breaking the silence.

"Ok..."-you said leaning back covering your eyes

"It's about to start...I need to go...I would come check on you in evening..."-hawks said in a low voice before saying bye.

He went out....

You burst into tears...
"It was all my fault...my fault my fault...and my fault...if I were more stronger....what did I do ...why did the nomu tried to kidnap me? Why?....now everyone thinks I am weak..."

But suddenly someone knocked at the door ...

"Y/n...I am the nurse"-the voice came from outside

You quickly rubbed your tears and tried to act normal.

"I am here..."-you said

She came in

"You ok now?...I heard you.."-she asked

"Oh you heard..."-you said in a low voice

"It's ok y/n...I know what happened... only I and the doctor knows...hawks has told not to reveal"-the old sweet nurse told

You hummed

"You know I also had a daughter...she was a hero..."-she said

"Where is she now?"-you asked

"She died..."-she replied silently

"Oh ...I am sorry..."-you replied feeling sorry

"No it's ok...I...I ... truly feel proud when anyone askes about her...she died fighting a villan.....you know it has been 6 years since her death.you always need to move on to live for the moments...the hopes everybody has on you...if you can never leave that cycle then it means you don't care about their feelings for you ....now if you blame yourself for everything that happened it's only going to be worse..."- she motivated you

You remained silent

She tucked your hair behind your ears and rubbed off the tears you were holding back.

"You need to keep faith in yourself and keep getting stronger "-she said smiling at you

"Thank you..."-you said giving a weak smile

"Now now... don't be sad you can still watch the festival...I can turn on the tv for you...and keep company until your bandages are changed...and bring some food you must be hungry..."-she said cheering you up

"Sure...."-you said feeling much better.

She turned the tv on and went to bring new bandages and food

*While watching the sports festival*

"The blonde Pomeranian really has potential"-she said changing your bandages.

"Pomeranian?...I also call him that"-with that you two laughed.
