Kuroza is sitting in class, looking over her internship requests, which aren't many, somewhere around 20. She sighs, and puts her forehead on her desk, "You good Roza?" "Just wish I got more requests" "How many did you get?" "Around 20" "Oh" "Yeah" "On the bright side, if you don't see anyone interesting you could possibly go with your uncle for internships" "That's right! UA let's those who didn't get that many or anyone that could help them go with one of the UA teachers" "Hey, Azugo?" "Yeah Tsu?" "I'm thinking about going with Selkie, what do you know about him?" "Oh Selkie? He'd be a perfect pick for you, he mainly works on water in his ship Oki Mariner. From what I've seen about him, don't be fooled by his appearance, he's very nice and often tries to look cute" "Hmm... I'll go with him then, I want to work somewhere that works well with my quirk" "Then that's perfect for you" "Thank for the help, kero" "No problem Tsu"
"Oh, I got an invitation from Edgeshot?" "Wait really? That's awesome!" "As much as I'd like to go with my uncle, all he'd be able to do is give me some experience, so I might go and see what Edgeshot has to offer" "I doubt he'd take it personally, as strict as he is, your uncle seems pretty nice to you" "He is, Uncle is really nice, it's just how he teaches that makes him seem strict" "Really?" "Yeah, what did you really think he was that strict outside of class?" "I mean... a bit" Kuroza giggles and looks at her paper, debating which hero to go with, not noticing Kirishima's cheeks go a bit red at her laugh. "Her laugh is so cute, but seeing how shortly we've known each other, I'll keep my feelings to myself" Kuroza stands up, having decided which hero to go with, and walks up to her uncle's desk to tell him.

Kuroza flops on her bed after changing to pajama's, ready to call it a night when her phone goes off, she checks it and sees that Kirishima is calling, a video call as well. She answers and sees that he's in his room, "Hey Kiri, what's with the video call?" "I was bored, and figured that'd I give you a call, I can share my screen and we can watch a movie if you want" "Sure, one sec" She grabs a pair of headphones and connects them to her phone, "There, now we won't bother my mom" "Smart, I should honestly do that too. Be right back, I need to find a pair" She sees him go off camera, and she grabs her phone and heads to the kitchen to make some popcorn, cause who can watch a movie without some? "Hey Sweetie, what's up?" "Oh, hey mom. I'm making some popcorn" "What for?" "Oh, umm... I'm gonna watch a movie with Kiri" "Oh is that why you have headphones in?" "Mhm, I took the time he's taking to find a pair of headphones himself to make some" "Smart. Just don't stay up too long, okay?" "I won't. I promise" She grabs the bag of popcorn from the microwave and pours it in a bowl before going back to her room. "I'm back with headphones, you made popcorn?" "Yeah, I can't watch a movie without some, it feels weird" "I know what you mean," He starts sharing his screen on the call and pulls up a streaming app, "What do you want to watch?" "Hmm... that app have Jurassic Park?" "Yeah, all of them" "Perfect, go with the third Jurassic Park" "That's the one with the Spinosaurus, right?" "Yeah" "I always got scared the most by that thing as a kid" Kuroza laughs a bit, "Honestly? Same. But I don't scared that badly, so I wasn't that bothered" "I just earn more and more about you everyday, first I learn that you like rock bands, now this" "What? Sad I'm not like most girls?" "No. If anything, glad" They watch the movie, with Kuroza being fairly unfazed and just eating her popcorn, and Kirishima jumping a few times but nothing too bad.
"How" "Like I said, I don't get scared that easily" Kirishima laughs a bit, "Well you proved yourself true" The two end up watching a couple more movies and just chatting about whatever comes to their minds. Kuroza eventually falls asleep, and having seen that she was asleep Kirishima simply says a goodnight to her and hangs up the call. Kuroza wakes up and realizes that she fell asleep on the call with him, and sees that he sent her a text, "Hey, noticed you fell asleep on the call, so I ended the call and let you sleep. If you end up waking up shortly after I did hang up, sorry, but get some sleep" "Good morning Kiri, sorry about falling asleep on you last night, I really enjoyed watching all those movies with you. Maybe we could do it again at some point? Maybe even in person?" "Oh I really hope that doesn't sound too pushy or desperate" "Sorry for the double text, but if you don't want to, you don't have to" "Calm down Roza, I'd be down to watch a couple movies in person at some point, but it'll probably have to wait for after the internships" "Yeah. Good point. Talk more later" She gets up out of bed, and gets dressed in her UA uniform, and heads to the living room, "Morning mom" "Morning sweetie, you heading out for your internship?" "Yeah, I have to ride the train for I think around 4 hours, so I need to be heading out soon if I want to make it on time" "The agency you'll be at has rooms for people to stay in, right? Because that's a long train ride that you'd have to take twice a day if not" "Yeah, there's rooms. They're optional, but those who live a decent time away use them more often" "Okay, don't forget to update me as things happen okay? You have breakfast on the table" "Thanks mom, and don't worry. I'll let you know when stuff happens, but please don't call unless it's an emergency" Her mom laughs a bit, "Don't worry sweetie, I won't bother you until you text me" "Alright, see you when I'm done with internship" Kuroza hugs her, and grabs the bagel on the table and walks out the door, backpack with her hero suit on her back.
After a very long train ride, she gets off at her stop, and walks to the address she was given. "Huh, for a ninja based hero... this is kinda basic. Oh well" She takes a photo of the building and sends it to her mom, with a text saying that she made it. "Have fun Kuroza" She walks in and the inside is modeled like an old fashioned temple, "Woah..." "Kuroza Azugo, yes?" Kuroza jumps a bit at the voice that just appeared next to her, "Geez... you scared me. But yes, that's me" "You need to always stay on guard, you never know where danger lurks" She nods, "Will do Edgeshot sir" "Come, I'll show you to your room so you can leave your belongings there, and then we'll start your training" "Yes sir" She follows Edgeshot through the building, "I have a question" "Yes?" "Why have the outside of your agency look... kinda plain?" "I never understood why heroes made their agency's stand out like a sore thumb, yes it makes it easier for civilians to find it in case of danger, but it also makes it easier for villains to find your agency" Kuroza nods, understanding where he's coming from, "I always thought it was kinda odd too, if I were to open my own agency, I'd probably just have on thing on the outside to make it known, but nothing over the top" "Like what?" "I don't know exactly, maybe some type of logo, something that makes it look like some company building" "Hidden in plain sight, yes?" "Mhm, that's what I'm thinking, but that's if I even make my own, I probably won't" "Thinking of going down the underground route?" "Yeah, a little" "I must warn you, that type of path leads to things that not many can handle" "I'm aware. I've overheard my uncle talking to my mom about some of the lighter things he's encountered... even the light stuff isn't pretty" "Yes... the path of an underground hero is not for the light of heart. This is your room, I expect you in the main room in 20 minutes" "Okay. Thank you for showing me around" "Of course"
Kuroza goes in and shuts the door and sets her back down before grabbing her suit from it and going into the bathroom to change. She meets up with Edgeshot after changing, "A suit made for stealth I see" "Yeah, my quirk isn't exactly made for fighting, so I stick with stealth when I can" "You know how to fight then, yes?" "Of course, I know a few martial arts as well as a couple weapons" He nods, impressed with her so far. "The first thing I want to do today is see where you are at in skill, and this afternoon will be a patrol" Kuroza nods, and the two head to the training room. "We'll start simple, see that training dummy? Use those daggers of yours and hit it from here" Kuroza looks to see the dummy he's pointing at, and after grabbing a dagger, she takes in how far away it is, and lines up her tosses before throwing, hitting the dummy straight in the bullseye on it. "Impressive. You're skilled with those" "Mhm. I also have a collapsible Bo staff" She takes it out and extends it, being met with a nod from the hero. "It's good to have many options in combat, but I'd recommend having some form of trap as well, so you can set them at escape points before making yourself known" He shows her the caltrops he has, "You do not need to use such methods as these, but something that will slow down the escapee just long enough to catch them" Kuroza nods, "I'll do some brainstorming on what to use, maybe even ask Power Loader when I get back to UA" "Yes, do that when you get back" Edgeshot helps Kuroza improve her skills, as well as things important for a stealth hero, such as picking locks, counting the amount of people based on footsteps, and a few other things. "You've done well Azugo, before we go on the patrol, what is your hero name?" "Right, I haven't told you. I decided on The Ventriloquist Hero: Puppet Master" "Interesting, I suppose you wanted to go with something that went along with your quirk?" "Yeah, and since my quirk is called Puppeteer, I didn't want to go with that" Edgeshot nods, and leads Kuroza out of the agency, starting their patrol.
"So. What do you know about patrols?" "That it's to show the civilians that we're here, as well as hopefully catch and crimes before they happen" "Exactly right, catching crimes before they even happen is imperative in order to keep the peace" The two continue walking, Edgeshot occasionally stopping to quiz her about places most likely to have a crime happening, "Here. Where around us would a crime most likely happen?" Kuroza looks around them, seeing a few back alleys, an old run down warehouse that parts of the roof have fallen in on that is a bit ahead of them, houses, and a small grocery store. "I'd say... probably either alleys, the warehouse up there, or the grocery store. But honestly speaking any of the places around us could be a spot" "Good eye, previous interns I've had hadn't thought about the houses until I mentioned them" The two continue their patrol with nothing happening, and return back to the agency for dinner. "You can have the rest of the day off, but for the rest of the week we will return to training after dinner" "Alright. Thank you" Edgeshot nods and Kuroza walks to the room she was assigned and changes into pajama's before texting her mom to update her about how the day went.
A/N: Sorry for this being late, got super busy over the weekend and Monday, and didn't get it done on time.
