Wrong Number (Bucky Barnes and REader)

You get home after stopping at a drive-thru to get dinner. You walk into your apartment and find it mooch-less. You are mentally thanking whatever deities you can to have some peace. You sit, eat, and read over the copies of the contract from Dr. Banner. 

Meanwhile, at the compound, everyone is sitting and eating dinner. 

Tony: "Ok, listen up there will be some construction having on the grounds. I am putting in a very large greenhouse for the newest member of the science team. Once it is done the newest scientist will be moving in."

Bruce: "She will be helping me more for not only healing us but helping in making medication to help." 

Steve: "So, she will be a member of the Avengers or part of the support team like Sheild is." 

Tony: "Sheild has nothing to do with her and the choice to bring her in. To be honest she is a genius with a background in both chemistry and biology leaning on botany. Her research is holistic in nature." 

Steve looks at Bucky at the same time as Natasha. The others do not notice them looking at Bucky. Both are thinking what are the odds that the newest member might have accidently contacted an Avenger.

After you looked over the contracts. you pull you phone to text your new friend

You:

Hey Wolfie 

Sgt Wolf:

Wolfie? 

You: 

Yes, you gave me a nickname, so I gave you one too. 

You changed his contact's name to Wolfie

Wolfie:

Ok, that is fair. So, how is everything going with you? Also did you get your hoodie back from your cousin's playmate.

You 

(JUMPING FOR JOY) Not only did I get to do research with a world famous PHD but it was a better deal with me being a research assistant for him but also being able to do my own research. 

Wolfie:

That is great Doll. So when do you start the new job?

You:

Not right away. Some construction needs to be done. 

Wolfie:

Wow, so you have to wait until they are ready?

You:

Yes, I have no issue with this as i can get some of the plants I want for them to get for me until I can get there. I also need to change my class schedule to more online than in person, but the term is almost over so that is next term. Tomorrow I will email my advisors about only doing online classes for a large portion of my classes

Wolfie:

That is good and bad that you have to wait but at least you won't have to work in a construction zone. Were you not going to start looking for a new apartment soon?

You: 

Oh, I do not need to look for a new apartment as they have one for me as part of my pay packet. Which is great but I will move in once I start working with them. I cannot wait to really dive into my personal research. 

While Bucky was on his phone texting you Tony seeing Bucky with a small smile on his face. Tony is wondering who got Bucky so happy. Bucky put his unlocked phone down to use the restroom. Tony looks to see if anyone was watching him and took the phone and took a quick picture of the contact. Bucky comes back and picks up his phone and heads to his apartment.
