Chapter 2: Meeting the beast god

  Once her head made impact with the floor everything went dark, then, she was floating at least that is what it felt like.

  'Who would have thought that this is what death felt like, I can get used to it. If only I had a kindle or a library with me, this place would have been the best'. That's what Diane thought while trying to move her body and become comfortable.

  "Ah, but this is not death my daughter, it is life". An unknown voice said from somewhere in the darkness.

  As soon as the unknown voice finishes speaking the darkness peels away to reveal a beautiful looking garden and a very handsome man with blonde hair and a very regal aura was standing with his back facing them. Wait... them? In shock Diane did a double take and turned her head back to her right hand side to see somebody who looked exactly like herself (except that Diane has one red eye and one blue and Diana has purple eyes) looking back at her in confusion, probably confused as to who Diane was and why she was there.

  "Come, sit my daughters, and let me tell you thetruth". As soon as they heard the voice of the man their heads snapped back to face him suddenly remembering that they were not alone.

  "Firstly, who the fuck are you?, Secondly who the fuck is she?, Thirdly where the fuck am I? and lastly what in the living hell do you mean daughters? Because if that is some religion shit and you are like the Christian God or something then I want zero part in this". this was Diana who immediately tried backing away only to find out that she could not move her body.

  "Yeah what she said" Diane said while checking out the garden-like place, she while still vigilant was clearly starting to daydream about the place.

  "I will explain it all just please take your seats so that we can start." The man said while gesturing to the bench he was standing beside. Diane and Diana moved forward to sit on the bench thinking that they were already dead what was the worst that could happen?. After they sat down the man also sat down on the chair that was in front of the bench while facing them.

  "My name is Cornelius from the centralcontinent, current god of the world Ven" Cornelius started, he raised his handup when Diane wanted to ask a question "Please do keep your questions for now,you will be able to ask when I am done. Now that I have introduced myself letme tell you a story, 300 years I and my wife (the goddess of Ven 'Katharina') finally fought and defeated our greatest enemy the 'The evil god Shu' but because of the fight our powers have weakened which caused great problems for the people of Ven". After a breath he continued.

"because of Katharina's weakening the people of Ven have been having difficulties giving birth to female hence they have turned to having many men marry one female so that there would be less single males. Oh yeah, although it has only been 300 years for us it has been 3000 for them. My loss of powers caused a different set of problems, that is to say that:

1. Crops harvest reduced to the extent that they don't do it anymore.

2. Males no longer have the strength they used to have, hence, hunting has become difficult.

3. Beasts have gained more strength, which is causing beast-tides, which cause reduction of population. Especially the female population because are now weaker than they were before (previously females only married one male and vice-versa, hence females could hunt as well, but now with so many males at their disposal they have devolved into weak creatures who can't survive without at least five males at their side at all times).

4. Other gods in the world of gods have set their sight on Ven and we were only given the next fifty years (in Ven time) to set the world back on a good track (we had more time but because of a few set backs that is all we have left) before we have to submit the world to the council of gods.

  "I know you are wondering were you fit into this 'cause that description does not sound like earth at all. Well it's simple you are my daughters." he paused for dramatic effect but before he could continue, Diana started talking.

  "While I might have been an orphan, my parents were clearly from earth (and you are going to have to be more clear on this World of gods and multiple worlds in general) because I grew up with them until they died when I was five." Then Diane piped in.

  "Yeah, and my parents died when I was fifteen."

  "I know that, you indeed had human parents. But look at me closely, if you imagined me with a more subdued appearance don't you think I look very similar to your father?" Cornelius said before waving his hand in the air and conjuring up a picture of a man and woman, with the man looking like a washed down version of him.

  "Those are my parents!" Diana and Diane shouted at the exact same time while staring at the picture. After hearing what the other said they turned to look at Cornelius who smiled before explaining.

  "After we (I and my wife) found out that we were having children we used our powers to reincarnate twice as humans to give birth to you. At first we wanted you to be born as twins since that is what you are, but unfortunately we found out that human bodies, no matter how strong they are, can not carry two gods sealed or not, new-born or not. Unfortunately, we had to keep our reincarnated bodies on points of energies, hence, you were born without knowing each other. I know you have questions, so go ahead Diane first 'cause she is the oldest and all."

  "Uh... firstly, do you have any proof for what you are saying?, secondly if you do where is your wife, since , you know she's supposed to be our mom and shit." Diane said while shaking her head to remove the images of fantasy from her head.

  "Katharina is currently in a worse conditionthan she was before, because it was her powers that we used in bringing yoursoul here and also in creating bodies for you. And speaking of bodies we onlyhave about three hours left hence we need to hurry up. I currently do not know of ways to show you that I'm speaking the truth. If I used my godly powers you will probably claim that it's an illusion or something. But why not just try what I have for you, after-all what's the harm, you're already dead anyways. Just keep an open mind" Cornelius said.

  "Okay, so it's my turn. Um. . . . . . One why are we here? Two if you are going to make us be reborn into 'Ven' please give us like a system or something so that we have definite goals and constant reminders." Diana said while doing air quotes around the word Ven.

  "Yes, we do intend to help you 're-incarnate' into Ven, if that's okay with you (both girls just nod), we intend to give you a system (built by my best friend as a gift) which will allow you to stay connected to me and also help you regain your powers. I would prefer it if we continue the explanation of the system through the system, you have to wake up soon." He said before clapping. "Okay does anyone have any problems with being born now? No? Good." He waved his hand and they both disappeared without the chance to respond.
