Dream sat in his office, surrounded by towering piles of paperwork. His brow was furrowed as he tackled each document. Just as he was about to finish a stack, Cross strutted into the room, a mischievous grin on her face. "Hey there, glowtsick. Working hard, I see." she said, tone dripping with sarcasm.

Dream barely acknowledged her presence, simply grunting in response. He continued filling out forms, trying to ignore the interruption.

Cross, unfazed by Dream's lack of reaction, waltzed over to his desk and leaned against it. "You look so stressed." she teased. "All this paperwork stressing you out?"

Dream didn't even look up from his paperwork as he spoke. "What do you want, Cross? Can't you see I'm busy?" he questioned, irritation evident in his voice.

Cross smirked, relishing the opportunity to annoy Dream. "What, no warm welcome for me? I'm hurt," she teased, feigning disappointment.

Dream rolled his eyes, not appreciating Cross's attempts at riling him up. "Cut the act, Cross. I know you're only here to annoy me. Can't you go bother someone else?" he retorted, returning his attention to the paperwork in front of him.

"Whatever.", Cross rolled her eyes as she sauntered away from his office, Dream couldn't help but roll his eyes. "Finally peace and quiet." he muttered under his breath, rubbing his forehead as he continue with his work.

Unbeknownst to Dream, Cross's kleptomania kicked in, and she quickly swiped his favorite mug from the desk. Without a second thought, she stashed it away, feeling a rush of satisfaction from the theft.

Dream, still focusing on his paperwork, hadn't noticed the female skeleton's sneaky theft. He continued working in silence, blissfully unaware that his beloved mug was now in the possession of someone else.

In the Meme Squad's lair.

Error is in the living room surrounded by colorful yarns and half-finished dolls. Her eyes were focused on the knitting needles dancing in her hands, creating intricate patterns and shapes. Just then she started to feel her hands going sore especially after hours of knitting.

"Maybe a nice cup of coffee will make me feel better.", said the black skeleton as she stands up from the couch giving herself a good stretch and walk towards the kitchen to prepare her caffeinated drink.

However, this made Error's mood turned sour as she can't find the coffee tin. She look everywhere around the kitchen but nothing.

"Okay! Fess up! Where is the coffee tin?!", Error called out, her expression changing to annoyance.

Suddenly, Nightmare rushed down the stairs, still wearing her bathrobe after a nice shower. "Has anyone seen my crown? I can't find it anywhere," she exclaimed.

Error raised an eyebrow, a hint of worry on her face. "What? Your crown? I haven't seen it. And the coffee beans are missing too." she replied, shifting her gaze towards the almost empty shelf where the coffee tin usually sat.

Nightmare groaned in frustration. "Ugh, I feel naked without my crown."

Error's frown deepened. "Well, I doubt it's anyone but Cross. You know how she is with her kleptomania issues."

Silence rolled in as the two stared into each other's eyes with realization.

The duo immediately marched off, searching for Cross throughout the house. They found her in her room, humming to herself while sorting through her 'collected' treasures.
