Chapter 2

'Madam sir aap aankhein khuli rakhiye hum Bass hospital pohoch ne hi wale hai..'..

Karishma woke up from her sleep with a jerk..her body was sweating as she again saw the same dream for the umptieth time..

She was breathing loudly..ks looked around to see that she was in her room..in her bed.

Ks sighed loudly..she was really tired of seeing the same dream over and over again..that how her ms was beside her..and how she couldn't save her..and though Hm was alright but the guilt she felt in those days has engraved in her heart..

She looked at the table where a dozen of flowers were laying.. haseena hasn't stopped sending her flowers to make her talk with her..or to just simply take the rage away..

But karishma couldn't forgive her even if she wanted to..the guilt and sadness she was feeling in those months now has turned into anger..

And though she knew at some point that haseena wasn't completely wrong..but ks's mind and heart was in a dilemma..

Dilemma of trust..her heart was dying to talk with hm..to listen to her once..but her mind was shutting her off.. to save her from the pain she can feel again if she will let haseena in her life..

Karishma went near the desk..and took a flower in her hand..

'Kyu Ms? Kyu nahi bataya aapne hume ki aap urmila nahi balki humari ms hai? Kyu nahi kiya bharosa humpe ?ekbar bass keh deti ki aap official kaam se ye sab kar rahi hai to shiv ji ki kasam, hum khud aapke astitwa ko bhool keh reh lete..padh itna kyu chot pohchaya aapne?..kya logo pe biswas karne ki kimat yahi hoti hai?.

Nahi Ms..ha shayad aap sahi hai, shayad kuch eisi baat hai jo hum abhi bhi samajh nahi pa rahe hai..padh ms issbar hum aapko maaf nahi kar sakte hai..khud ke sath ye annay hum nahi kar sakte..' karishma said the last part angrily..though her heart was saying her to listen to hm for once..but her mind was not letting her..

At the same moment..her phone notification ringed..showing a name which brought her a small smile..

It was showing that Mehek Sharma has messaged her..
Mk( Mehek) was in the same post as Ks..as hm joined her duty again..she thought it would be okay to tell all of it to dsp sir..

And when dsp sir listened all of it..he suggested that to reduce the work pressure of them, he was posting another SI in their thana..

After Mehek Sharma joined..she and karishma formed a quick friendship between them..as both of them were non-jaazbati..

But the twist was, ks felt a spark between them..because after more than six months, she laughed freely with mk..she started to like her company and maybe she liked mehek a little bit too..

And now, ks was looking forward for their bond to grow..because she has given her all to this line of duty..her blood,sweat everything..

Now she just wanted to move on with life..all the trauma, all the cries..she didn't wanted to bear it anymore..

So when mehek entered she thought maybe they can have a future together?..but ks felt it was not the right time..she wanted to see if they are compatible enough to date each other..

Date..karishma didn't know why but whenever she thought about dating anyone..even mehek..her mind automatically went towards haseena.

How they went to their first unofficial friendship date without even realizing..it felt it was a lifetime ago..ks miss those days..when there was this connection between her and haseena even with their difference in opinion..
