Chapter 5

Haseena was driving towards the thana..after talking with Sarah her heart calmed down a little..though Sarah was her counselor but in her heart she was a friend...

Hm was over thinking again..all the things that was unsaid in her heart was surfacing her mind over and over again, she just wanted to escape from all of this..

'Ek eisa din tha jab pushpa ji hume apni beti maan ti thi, aur aaj ek din hai jab hum unke bharose ke bhi kabil nahi rahe..' haseena thought to herself..and that's when her hallucination started..

'Aur karengi bhi kaise..' a sound came from the passenger seat and hm saw herself sitting there..looking with a smile which she have mastered through years..

'T..tum, tum kaun ho..' haseena stammered getting scared..she knew her mental health was taking a toll..but it was this bad that she was seeing herself?..

'Hum wo haseena hai jisse har koi pasand karta hai, tumhari ammi, karishma, pj, santu, cheetah sab, jo haseena perfect hai..padh tum?tum wo ho jo logo ko takleef deti hai harbaar' the imaginary haseena replied her face showing a devilious grin..

Hm looked at her confusingly.
'Kya keh rahi ho tum ye..nahi ye sab bass ek behem hai aur kuch nahi' haseena was trying so hard to go back in the reality but she was unable to do so..

'Behem?' The imaginary hm laughed almost mocking haseena..
'Behem to tumne paal rakha hai haseena, ki ekdin sab sahi hoga..kuch sahi nahi hoga..na karishma tumhe maaf karegi aur naa hi tumhara pyar kabhi usse nazar aayega' false haseena said..

Hm was finding hard to breath by listening to her negative self..she was shooking her head negatively to get rid of her toxic self which was self sabotaging..but nothing was helping..

'Kya huya?jabab nahi de pa rahi?yu to tumhare jaazbaat ke bohot charche hai, aaj yahi jaazbaat ne tumhe tumhare aapno se dur kar diya..aur kya pj ne galat kaha? Tumhari wajah se hi wo sab mahino tak taras te rahe rote rahe..'  the negative haseena talked and hm gulped down the lump in her throat..she could feel her chest getting tight with unsaid words, the guilt, regret and the fear of losing them forever was making her crazy..

'T..tum kuch nahi janti, tum bass humari parchayi ho jo hume gumrah karne ki kosish kar rahi hai aur kuch nahi..eisa kuch nahi hoga..wo sab hume maaf kar denge, karishma bhi hume maaf kar degi..' hm said and her voice choked.. but still there was no tears in her eyes which was only making her struggle to breath..

But the false haseena only laughed..

'Kyu khud ko galat dilasa de rahi ho haseena? Tumhe bhi sach pata hai ki tumhara aur tumhare team ka rishta ab waisa nahi raha..wo sab bhul gaye tumhe haseena..wo sab bhul gaye tumhe..' imaginary haseena was repeating this again and again..

And hm could feel herself tensing and sweating..she was shooking her head negatively repeatedly..

At the same time hm saw that a car approaching her as she was not focused on the road..haseena hurriedly turned the steering wheel but ended up hitting a tree..a glass pierced through her left hand's palm and haseena hissed in pain..

She rested her head in the seat..as she was breathing heavily..

Karishma was pacing in the thana waiting for haseena..

'Kaha gayi hongi Ms..subah to apne cabin mein thi phir kaha gayi..' ks was tensing over the fact and mehek was watching her..

'Tum itni chinta kyu kar rahi ho karishma? MS ko kuch kam hoga issliye kahi gayi hongi' mk said and put her hands in karishma's shoulder to calm her down..
