Prologue

Depthwater POV:
I woke up the sun shining on my dark blue fur and the coldness in the air. I got up out of my nest still watered and sticky as usual then I heard someone called out my name.

???: "Depthwater are you coming? It's early you know? Stormstar doesn't like to wait around as usual brother." Dustpelt prodded my side.

Depthwater POV:
It was my half brother Dustpelt. Telling me to be ready, and knowing Stormstar being the grumpy cat he is with angry issues, and doesn't like to put up cats being late and bullcrap! But I don't blame him.

Depthstar: "I'm coming, I'm coming!" Grabbed my spikey collar. And putting it on my neck.

Deptwater: "Why did you have to wake me up so early Dustpelt?" I asked meowed drowsily. And looked at him really confused.

Dustpelt "Sighs, Because you have dawn patrol today Depthwater!" Dustpelt looked at me like I forgot.

Depthwater: "Dawn patrol!?" I said while being shocked, to the point I was going to pass out. "But I scheduled it next week!" I thought to myself.

Dustpelt: "I thought so too! But finding out Stormstar scheduled it today Depthwater!"

Dustpelt: "Or did you forget?" Glared at Depthwater.

Depthwater: "I did not forget I told him yesterday I told him, I would do dawn patrol next week! Unless he forgot!" I said snarled angrily and face palmed myself with my paw.

Dustpelt: "I can't blame you for being angry but. Hey! At least you can get this day over with right?" I said trying to calm my brother down.

Depthwater: "Sighs your right, thanks Dustpelt!" I said that in a calming voice.

Dustpelt: "Also. Longtail said he would be there." I said while being happy.

Depthwater: "Oh that's good! I wished Deserve was at the clan but he's with my step mother Velvet."

Dustpelt: "Same! But let's go!" I said taking Depthwater's paw, and running into the forest heading to the clan.

Depthwater: "Wait! Whoa!"
