Next day at evening,
Pasha house
Haya was suspiciously observing her cousin sister.. who was all lively and chirpy again. She couldn't help but wonder the reason for it because she was sure that something or rather someone was affecting her moods more than everyone else combined together.. but who? And why does she not know about it?
"Haya! Tumse baat kar rahi hun.. aise kya dekh rahi ho?"
"Kal raat ko jab maine call ki thi.. tumhara mood tab tak off lag raha tha.. aur aj subah itni khushgawari ka raaz kya hai behen?"
"Kya hogaya hai Haya? Aisi shakki nazron se toh na dekho! Ab mera mood off bhi nahin ho sakta?"
"Ho sakta hai.. par main toh mood sahi hone ki wajah puch rahi hun.. taaki main hi apna lun.. 3 din se tumhara sara hua mood dekhke lag raha hai ki deewaron se baat karni padegi."
"Koi wajah nahin hai.. waise bhi mera mood.. uski marzi.. abhi toh bilkul sahi.. kharab nahin karo! Jao jaake chai banake lao.. aaghu jaan ke paas chalte hain! Main uss Sameer ko bhi bulati hun.. Jao na!"
She pushed a reluctant Haya who was still in questioning zone out of the room and plopped on the bed.
"Itna kharab tha mera mood?"
She wondered to herself before getting up quickly.
"Aaghu jaan! Sameer!"
Exclaiming, she rushed to her grandmom's room lest Haya comes back to set her enquiry booth again.
...
Farjad was sitting in his office having lunch while Umeed was in her cafe.. having lunch too as they were talking on a call.
"Toh tum Haya ko bata do!"
"Kya batadun?"
"Humare baare mein Umeed! Waise bhi usse chupane ki kya zarurat hai? Woh toh tumhari secret keeper hai.. I think ab usse pata hona chahiye!"
"Baat toh apki sahi hai Farjad.. par iss hisaab se toh apko bhi Mimi ko bata dena chahiye."
"Umeed.. main accha lagunga apni behen se aisi baat karte hue? Mimi se bhi tum hi baat karna."
"Yeh kya baat hui? Donon jagah se mujhe hi baatein sunwaenge ap!"
"Baatein kyun sunaengi? Woh donon humare baare mein jaankar khush hi hongi."
"Hmm.. aur jab pata chalega ki kabse chupa rakha tha phir? Shaamat toh meri hi aani hai! Aap yeh mashwara pehle nahin de sakte the ki unhe bata dun?"
"Ab ismein bhi meri galti?"
"Aur nahin toh kya? Zyada samajhdaar aap hain.. aisi baatein aap pe hi suit karti hain."
"Ji ji.. meri hi galti hai."

Khan House,
Umeed suddenly entered Farjad's room making him bewildered.
"Umeed.. tum?"
He said loudly and she quickly signalled him to shut up.
"Dheere bolein.. koi sunn lega."
