A/N: this is still during the same day as the chapter "New Residents" and the chapter "Remembrance". This is a long ass chapter by the way. By the way, Michael has a tail, he just never has it out.
Alastor arrived back from the overlord meeting, excited for his time he was going to spend with Lucifer.
-
Michael wandered up to his room, holding on tightly to the trumpet. He stared at it as he walked. A sense of dread washed over him. When the time came, and as his father had said...soon. Michael expected that he was going to be the first trumpet. If he were to not blow his trumpet, then when the other Arch's received theirs...they wouldn't be allowed to blow them. However, it was his duty, he had been warned about this 1.7 billion years ago, it was his fault that he hadn't remembered that this would someday have to happen.
Michael stopped at his door, resting his forehead against it for a moment. Every good person in the world would be sent to heaven, and all of the bad...sent to Tartarus to suffer forever. He hated the fact that soon, nobody who was evil on Earth would ever get a second chance. He was oblivious to what was going to happen to hell when this all arrived.
Michael walked into his room, repeating to himself in his head good will live anew after this, when new creation thrives....
He dropped the trumpet on his bed, not even wanting to look at it anymore. He was going to count the days of wait until the time would arrive. This would be day number 1.
Michael walked over to his desk, shuffling through old paperwork that he had brought with him here to hell. He picked it up, and threw it all in the trash. He then changed into a t-shirt and shorts. If he was going to relax, he would use this time of waiting for it.
He took one last look at the trumpet, then picked it up. Michael brought it over to his closet, and placed it on the top shelf, where it would be out of his view until he needed it.
He then headed back downstairs to the lobby, looking around.
He saw Lucifer and Alastor giving each other a hug. The two of them then walked hand in hand, heading down the hallway to the movie theater.
Michael smiled, Alastor was good for Lucifer. He followed them to the theater. "Luci! What are you two going to watch?"
Lucifer turned around. "Not sure, I think Alastor picked already. He was the one who suggested this."
Alastor grinned. "You like cute little animals, so I chose this movie called Bambi."
"Ummm...Alastor. When you were alive, weren't you really close with your mom?"
"Yes. Why does that matter?"
"Wasn't she killed?"
"She was."
Lucifer bit the bottom of his lip.
Michael's eyes grew wide. "I see what you're trying to warn him about." He agreed with Lucifer.
"Yeah- you sure you want to watch Bambi? The mom gets killed...." Lucifer mumbled, looking slowly up at Alastor.
Alastor flinched. "It would be splendid if we were to watch a different movie."
"I know how much you hate TV's, Al. You don't have to put yourself through watching a movie, just because I like movies. We could do something else that we'll both like."
Michael had an idea. "Remember when you and I went to Iceland to watch the Northern lights three weeks ago?"
Lucifer nodded.
