Finally it was the weekend.

It had been one hell of a week and Jane was ready to leave that all behind as she drank responsibly a beverage that "has a slight alcoholic content in the books, but it's safe for children to drink" (which, the fuck does that even mean??).

The group wasn't getting together until the afternoon though, so Jane spent the morning being a gardener in the ROR. She had planted literally all the seeds she had bought on her first trip to Hogsmeade. By the end of her work she had nine plants potted, all in the various sized potting tables. Deek had been very helpful in conjuring what she needed- even more so that she didn't have to buy a tome/scroll for it.

Being with the little elf was also just enjoyable in general. He was quirky and chatty, and she ended up laughing quite a lot during their conversations. He made lots of puns about plants- it was hilarious. There were a few times that he mentioned something from his past that would lead to him getting quiet all of a sudden, but it seemed he wanted to brush it under the rug and change the subject quickly.

It wasn't until after the first trial that he would likely open up about his previous owner and begin all the beast rescuing quests. Jane wished that there was a way she could help him out now, but it seemed he wasn't really ready to talk about anything yet...

When lunchtime rolled around she stopped her work- her little friend group would be meeting up after the meal to head down to the town together. She started putting away her tools and turned excitedly towards the elf.

"Well that's all I have time for today-"

"It looks to Deek that you have nothing left to do anyhow- you have to let them start to grow before you can prune."

"Very true. I hope you have a good rest of your day- I'm off to Hogsmead with some friends for the afternoon!" She said happily, "Is there anything you'd like me to bring back for you?"

"Deek wouldn't say no to a bottle of Butterbeer- but uh, Deek wonders..." He looked a little perplexed as he spoke.

"What is it?"

"Well, Deek doesn't want to be rude, but Deek wonders if that is how you are dressing to meet your friends?"

Jane looked down at her clothes, which were caked in dirt. Not to mention she was also just wearing her uniform- that didn't really seem like the right fit for an outing, right? The characters in the game always wore the same thing, which was especially funny if you dressed your MC up in some crazy outfit. But would things be different now? Had Garreth been dressed differently when they went out last weekend? She couldn't remember... maybe all the rotting meat fumes messed with her head.

"You're right- I am kind of a mess. Seems I'll have to skip lunch to be able to get ready but..." She paused to think, and then turned towards the elf "Deek do you know if students usually dress down when they leave the school on the weekends?"

"Deek thinks so- especially as the weather gets cooler. Do you have any clothes besides your uniform?"

"Well I have some riding gear, but I don't think that would be a good fit either. I'd be fine wearing my uniform if that's what everyone was doing. Ugh I don't know! I wish I just knew what to wear!"

At her cry there was a loud scraping sound from all around them and she about went into fighting mode against the walls. Quickly though she realized what was going on and watched as the room adjusted itself once more. Usually this wouldn't happen until she was ready for the vivarium so she wasn't sure what the room was making.

When the loud sounds stopped, there was a new door off to the side of where they were. Cautiously both she and Deek walked over to it, sharing a look before she reached out and turned the handle. Inside was a ... bathtub? It was a bathroom, basically or maybe more like a dressing room that also just had a bathtub.
