*Ella's pov*

Me and rose came back home and I almost immediately plopped myself onto my bed, I was tired as hell. I tried to sleep but couldn't. My mind kept drifting back to that stranger we met in the park "Jungkook". I didn't know why my mind kept going back to him, but for some reason I couldn't stop thinking about him. I got up and walked downstairs. I poured myself a glass of water, just as I picked it up to drink, a piercing scream broke through the quiet house. The glass dropped from my hand and shattered on the floor. It was Jenna's voice. She was scared. I quickly ran to the sound of the voice but I was too late. Jenna was on the floor, covered in blood. Her neck had been sliced open and whoever did it was long gone. Blood poured out of her body, covering the entire white floor with it. I stared, wide eyed. I wanted to scream, to run to Rose and tell her what happened, but my body wouldn't move. My words were caught in my throat.

A few minutes later I managed to get her myself. I looked around the room and saw a piece of paper, scrunched up, on the floor. I picked it up and opened it.

I'm watching you. Both of you.
I know everything about you.
Don't think you can hide from me.
I will come after you if you try to run away.
Don't even think of telling anyone about this.
If you do, mark my words, they will die.

My hands trembled as I placed the note in my pocket and ran upstairs to get Rose.

"Rose. Wake up"
"Why are you waking me up in the middle of the night Ella?"
Rose questioned as she got up. I signalled her to follow me and led her to where Jenna was laying, lifeless. I heard her gasp.
"H-How?"
"Don't know. I couldn't sleep, so I went downstairs for some water and I heard her scream. When I came up her, this is what I saw" I replied pointing to the corpse. My eyes suddenly widened as I remembered the glass I dropped after hearing Jenna's scream.i quickly went to the kitchen with rose tailing right behind me. The 2 of us cleaned up the mess and went back to Jenna. We called the police, Ross and a funeral service in that order and waited. We explained everything we knew. The police informed us that it may have been "the shadow", which we relayed to Ross. He told us to be more careful, starting from now. If "the shadow" targeted Jenna, then there's no telling who's next on their list.
