Untold Truth [KTH FF]

"I wish it was all a nightmare"

It had been years since Taehyung had heard your voice, seen your face, or held you into his arms.

The pain of losing you still lingered, a constant ache in his heart. He often finds himself smiling as he is lost in your memories, reminiscing the moments spent with you.

Taehyung is now sitting alone in a park where he used to spend time with you.

The same place where you both spent countless hours together.

Taehyung closed his eyes, leaning back on the bench…as if he was trying to hold onto any trace of your presence.

He took a deep breath and placed his hand on his chest, whispered…

Tae- It’s been 10 years…I’m living my life…without you. I hope you’re doing well.

(Saying this he sighed deeply and slowly opened his eyes)

It was nothing but an empty park. No one was there to see him or hear him but a cute little girl was there…playing alone with her toys.

Suddenly the little girl looked at Taehyung and smiled softly. Seeing this he also smiled back in the same way…

Tae- so many things I didn’t tell you, y/n…and I’m sorry for that. (He looked down)

Tae- Everyone visited your grave but never visited you...never asked how you were…I’m sorry.....I’m sorry if I made you feel lonely there..

(He wiped his tears quickly and take a deep breath)

Tae- won’t you say anything in return, baby? (He caressed his chest softly)

After getting no response he said with a soft chuckle

Tae- never mind. I was kidding.

Saying this he looked up. He was sitting quietly, observing the little girl who was playing by herself. seeing this he smiled at himself and whispered

Tae- Do you see that girl? (He paused and said)

she is mine…my princess…my only one… "Taeri"

Tae- I found her in a hospital 3 years ago. Her mother left after giving birth to her.

(He sighed)

Tae- Poor girl…she was just a newborn baby and when I saw her she was crying messily. Seeing this my heart sank so I went towards her, took her in my arms and started soothing her... After a while she stopped crying and fell asleep peacefully in my arms.

(He smiled softly and said)

Tae- I couldn’t bear such a young innocent soul and never wanted to leave her alone…so then I took her home…legally.

(He closed his eyes)

Tae- she helped me to live my life without you. She filled the empty space of my life. (He sighed deeply…trying his best not to break down in front of his daughter)

Tae- But I still want you and I’m still waiting for you baby…I will wait for you till my last breath…So please don’t feel lonely and wait for me for more years…I’m completing your last wish.

Your heart is safe with me.

(Saying this he touched his heart gently. It was beating rapidly)

Tae- I’m living my life with my little princess. Thank you so much baby for giving me this beautiful chance. I love you so much and I still do it. Please don’t f-forget about me

(saying this he covered his face with his hands and started sobbing silently)

Suddenly a small hand touched his knee so he looked up. He saw the little girl standing beside him, looking at his face worriedly. Seeing this, Taehyung wiped away his tears and smiled at her...

Taeri-  have you seen mum today?? (Said with her baby voice)

Taehyung looked at her and caressed her head softly, said

Tae- No Princess, your mum didn't come today... (Hearing this she nodded softly)

Tae- wanna go home? (she shook her head slightly)

Taeri- Nahh dada!!! Ice-cream (she hugged his knees slightly. Taehyung chuckled and pecked her head softly)

Tae- Alright then…

(he smiled, stood up and started walking, holding her tiny hand in his large one)

“I love you, dada”

“I love you too, my little princess”
