Time skip

It’s been 4 days. Today Taehyung gained consciousness.

He slowly opened his eyes but feeling dazed, Taehyung blinked slowly as he began regaining his senses. He felt weak and tired and Everything felt hazy. His eyes were still trying to adjust to the brightness of the room.

(Taehyung looked around and saw his parents were sitting beside him and his friend Jungkook was standing in a corner while looking down)

T/m- You’re awake?? How are you feeling, dear?

(Taehyung smiled and took a deep breath before saying).

Tae- I’m feeling different now…I’m feeling so fresh and my heart is not hurting anymore.

(His dad chuckled lightly and said)

T/d- son, you’re not sick anymore. You’re all fine now. Doctor said you can go back home in two days.

(Taehyung widened his eyes in surprise)

Tae- really!! (They nodded with a smile)

Tae- so it’s mean…Now i can marry y/n without any worry! (Hearing this his parents glanced at each other)

Tae- oh man! I have to call y/n to inform her that I’m coming in two days. Shit! She must have misunderstood me!

(he chuckled at himself)

Saying this, Taehyung took his phone and dialled your number but it was switched off. His parents  didn’t say a word but they had worried looks.

Tae- her phone is switched off…umm…anyway, I will talk to her when she comes to see me.
(he sighed)

T/d- umm…Taehyung there is something we want to talk about. (Hearing this Taehyung looked at them confusedly)

Tae- what is it, dad?

T/d- Y/n came to meet you and she said before l-leaving…she loves you so much (he looked down)

Taehyung's heart fluttered hearing his father's words. He smiled at the memory of your love for him.

Tae- aish…I’m missing her even more now! (he chuckled shyly)

But then Jungkook slowly went towards him and said

Jk- Taehyung, Take this. (He handed him a piece of paper)

Tae- what is this? (Confusedly)

Jk- Y/n gave me this letter and told me to give it to you when you gain consciousness.

Taehyung's heartbeat quickened as he listened to Jungkook. He took the paper and looked at it. He glanced at his parents before his gaze shifted to the letter.

“Hey Taehyung,

I guess, you are all good now if you are reading this letter. I’m happy that now you can live without any worry. Your body can work properly.

don’t worry about me. I’m always with you…but I really wished to become your wife though but it’s okay.”

(Taehyung’s eyes widened as he read your words. Then he look at his parents and said with his trembling voice)

Tae- Mom, dad…Why did y/n write this? Please tell her that I am now well and I am coming to her.

(His parents were looking down)

He continued to read the letter, his fingers tracing over the words you had written.

“You really stole my heart, taehyung and I’m glad that my heart is now beating within you. So whenever you miss me just place your hand on your heart and talk to me”

(taehyung placed his hand on his mouth and started sobbing silently)

“I hope you will always take care of my heart as you take care of me…I know you must be angry but please put yourself in my position. What would you have done if I was in your place?”

Taehyung's heart ached, knowing the truth. He couldn’t even imagine what you were going through. With tears rolling down his face, he continued reading your letter.

“My life was already hell and you taught me how to feel love and happiness. I imagined my life without you and it was totally hell. Thank you so much for always being there for me.”

Taehyung’s grip on the paper tightened, the weight of your words sinking in deeply. He wanted to hold you in his arms, to tell you how much he loved you and how much you meant to him.

“Remember that you saved my life once and this time I saved your life. So don’t think you’re alone because I’m always there for you and also you have your parents who love you and even your friends love you too. So stop thinking nonsense and put a smile on your face”

He chuckled, imagining your nagging tone through the words. He wiped the tears from his eyes, feeling both his heart and soul filled with emotions.

“We will definitely meet again in our next life and I will try to remember you. Will you be too?”

Taehyung’s heart skipped a beat as he read your words..He held the letter close to his heart and whispered,

Tae- Of course, I’ll wait for you…no matter how long it takes…

(tears were streaming down his face)

“Now smile because I can feel your emotions now and always remember that I love you and you’re my everything. I will be waiting for you…goodbye…my baby”

Tears were streaming down his cheeks as he read the letter. He clutched the paper tightly in his hand, his body shaking with silent sobs...

T/m- Taehy- (cut off)

Tae- why mom! Why!! Why did you let her do this??

T/m- we stopped her taehyung but she didn’t listen to us (she patted his back gently)

Tae- H-how can i live now after killing the person I love? (He busted into tears)

(His mom looked at him)

T/m- you didn’t kill her taehyung. She is with you forever and no one can snatch her from you. She really loves you so much

(saying this her mom cupped his face lightly and said)

T/m- she made a really difficult decision so please don’t make her regret it, taehyung.

(Hearing this he looked up and said while stuttering badly)

Tae- I- I won’t…I promise. I will never let her down (she smiled at his word and said)

T/m- she must be very happy now… (hearing this Taehyung hugged his mom tightly while sobbing silently)

Taehyung’s heartbroken sobs filled the room as he held onto his mom.

The knowledge that you sacrificed yourself for him made his heart ache.

He held onto his mother tightly as the reality of your absence hit his mind.....
