"Miss Adina... The court finds you guilty of high treason." God spoke. Their voice slightly trembling the surroundings.

my eyes widen, this was unjust! I was framed.. And found guilty... I kept my head down in silence as saying something now would get me executed.

"Your sentence is to be exiled to planet Earth." They continued. Earning shocked gaps from the spectators.

"W-Wait! My liege, shouldn't you take into consideration that Adina is the only Saviour in heaven and that there isn't enough proof of her allegations? Giving such punishment to someone with not enough evidence would be crude!" Lady Irene defended, as she was on my side.

"My decision is final. Send her down." God ordered as a portal appeared under me.

The last thing I saw before I fell was Archangel Gabriel, the one who got this case against me in the first place. I found out about his awful plan to bring demonic entities known as 'Alternates' or 'Doppelgängers' into the mortal realm to renew the earth.

He gave me a cheeky grin and I could see the corruptions of his creatures seep into his physical being.

As I fell with tremendous speeds, I only thought about the humans. Their lives were gong to end... For what? I may not have been one of the selected figures in Heaven to supervise Earth but those creatures have lives.. A sense of self... Souls... It'd be cruel to just erase  all of the life situated on the planet for no reason...

I could feel my wings burning as I continued to fall, I had to make sure no humans would hear me so in my haste I quickly used a spell to deafen the ears of the living beings in the hearing range. I eventually landing harshly in the hard surface of the planet, unable finish my incantation. My body screamed in pain but I couldn't move. My vision became blurry as I blacked out. Falling into a deep slumber.

Ava's POV:

I woke up to a loud crash which caused me to fall off of my bed. I look to my phone for the time. 3 am. I groan, grabbing my big novelty pencil as I went down the elevator to check what the noise was.

"How the heck did nobody hear that? Even the guys didn't immediately run out when the boom resonated..." I mutter to myself, walking to the elevator as the sound came from where the trash bins are.

'Wait why am I going outside, alone, trying to figure out what a loud noise was, in the middle of the night?? THIS IS HOW A HORROR MOVIE BEGINS! Whatever.. I'm already here.. Might as well accept my fate.' I mentally slapped myself upon my own stupidity.

I turned the corner and saw that there was a huge smoking crater in the ground! I slowly inched closer and as the smoke cleared I saw a person lying there, unconscious!

"Oh my gosh! Are you okay?" I exclaimed as I ran to her side. I inspected her for injuries but then I noticed that she had.. Wings? 6 of them to be real...

The edges of her feathers were black with char and she was covered in soot... This felt wayy too real to be a fever dream, I saw that there were 2 rings covering her eyes.

I saw that she also had dark skin, white hair, a tattoo around her neck that resembled a choker, scars along her arms and a surprisingly muscular body... AVA SNAP OUT OF IT!!! THIS IS AN UNCONSCIOUS COSPLAYER!!

But.. She seems very hurt as she had what I guess is blood flowing from a gash on her side.. It won't hurt to at least get her patched up.

I tried picking her up and she was shockingly lightweight so I managed to bring her up to my apartment. Although I struggled to get her huge ahh wings in the elevator..

I gently set her down on the floor, propped up on the wall. I got some bandages from the first aid kit and put it on the counter of the sink, then I went and prepared some warm water in the tub, no soap though, that would make her wound hurt.

I then got the injured cosplayer and placed her inside the tub, I took a soft towel and carefully scrubbed her wings and face (with some difficulty because of the rings on her head).

As I was cleaning her wings, I noticed that the blood on her clothes were retreating back into the wound and the gash closed at a rapid speed through the water.

'Okay! This may or may not be a hallucination but she feels.. Real... WHY DO I ALWAYS GET STUCK WITH WEIRD MAGICAL BEINGS??!!' I thought as I shook the idea away. Illusion or not, I want to help her.

When my hands touched her wings, she winced and make a soft groan. To be honest... It sounded like a.... STOP THIS MADNESS AVA!!!!!!!!

I finished cleaning her up so I carried her out of the water that was now cold, I squeezed water out of her hair and wings and laid her on the couch.

"Oh right, I guess I should make some tea for her when she wakes up." I muttered quietly, I got the kettle and filled it up with water and placed it carefully on the stove so I wouldn't wake her up. I then turned on the fire and it started to boil.

A few minutes later, I heard the quiet start of the whistle from the kettle so I turned off the fire and prepared a mug with a rosemary teabag in it. I poured the water in and left it to steep, meanwhile I went to check on this random woman I brought into my apartment.

"Dang she looks taller than I thought..." I mumbled under my breath, she was definitely taller than Pierce which was already crazy enough now her?

I went back to the mug and dipped the teabag a few times in the boiling water, as I did that I started to hear low groans coming from the sofa.

'Oh boy... Here we go again...' I thought as the figure started to wake up.
