It was another day of hell. By that, I mean school. It hadn't even started yet, and you were already tired. You didn't do anything wrong—you slept a perfect 8 hours, exercised, and ate well. So why the hell were you exhausted? Why was your body heating up like you'd overused your quirk?Overused...your...quirk.
It's probably nothing.
By 6:30, you were already ready for school. As much as you hate going, you have no choice but to fit into society, unfortunately. With your class starting at 8:45, you took your time exploring your playlists, either adding new ones or getting rid of the old ones.
"[Name]—"
You froze, hearing that voice in your head. It sounded like an echo. And it didn't sound like Yun.
'Who the fuc—'
"I beg—beg of—"
You stood up from where you sat and grabbed your head. You weren't injured, but the pain pulsed through your body. It felt like...something was trying to enter your body.
"WHAT DO YOU WANT?"
You screamed as you stared at the floor, your hands on each side of your head.
"Will you...promise me—"
The voice didn't belong to Yun at all. It didn't belong to anyone you knew, but it sounded. It was a male voice.
"PROMISE WHAT?!"
You yelled, confusion and irritation swirling through your head as you tried to at least get that voice out and bring back Yun if you could.
"That if we ever—ever met—met again—"
You let go of your head and let yourself listen, your body's reflexes relaxing as you listened.
"Perhaps—in another—another world—life—or universe—"
You stood there before running towards the bathroom and looking at yourself in the mirror.
"—ll you—ve—m—ack?"
The voice started to fade in and out as if it was being removed. You tried to focus on the voice, but your thoughts were quickly replaced by how you looked in the mirror.
"WHY THE HELL AM I GLOWING?!?!"
"[Name]?"
"Yun? Yun! What was that?"
Relief washed over you as you heard her voice again, though you couldn't ignore the uneasy feeling in your stomach.
"Where have you been? I couldn't hear you."
"I was... out, somewhere," Yun replied, her voice tinged with hesitation.
"Anyway, what happened?" she asked, quickly shifting the focus back to you.
"There was... never mind, I have to go to school. Can you guide me?" you said, leaving the bathroom and grabbing your school bag.
Yun stayed silent, but you didn't question it. You left your apartment, making sure to lock the door behind you.
