The night sky was draped in dark clouds.
the occasional flash of lightning illuminating the city in a silver glow. The heavy scent of rain filled the air and the streets were slick. reflecting the blurred lights of passing cars. Jungkook leaned against the old brick wall of the alleyway, his hood pulled low over his face. His sharp eyes scanned the quiet street. waiting The familiar weight of tension pressed on his chest.
"It's never simple. is it?" Jungkook muttered to himself. his voice barely a whisper above the rain.
For as long as he could remember. his life
had been a series of secrets and shadows. He thought he could outrun it all leave the past behind-but it always found a way to catch up with him. Tonight. he felt that famillar pull the invisible hand of danger tugging at his sleeve.
Just then. footsteps echoed behind him. splashing in the puddles. He didn't need to
look to know who it was "You should go home. Taehyung." Jungkook
said. his tone flat but tinged with worry. "This isn't your fight."
Taehyung, with his usual calm demeanor. stepped beside him. hands casually in his pockets. He didn't seem the least hit fazed
by the situation.
"And leave you to deal with this mess alone?" Tachyung smirked. his eyes gleaming in the low light. "You know I can't do that."
Jungkook turned to face him. his jaw set. "If's not a fame. Tae. If they find out you're
Involved-
"They won't." Taehyung interrupted. his voice suddenly serious. T've got your back. always."
Jungkook sighed. knowing there was no point in arguing Taehyung had always been stubborn. Still. the weight of the situation was heavier than he let on.
Across town. Hana stood at the window of her small cozy apartment. watching the rain pour down in sheets. The steady rhythm of the drops against the glass was usually calming but tonight, there was a unease she couldn't shake. Something about the night felt... off.
Her best friend. Minji. sat cross-legged on the couch. flipping through a magazine.
"You're doing that thing again." Minji sald without looking up. "Staring at the rain like
if's going to give you answers." Hana chuckled softly, though her heart wasn't in it. "It's just... I don't know. Do you
ever get the feeling that something is about
to change? Like something hig is coming.
but you don't know what?" Minji finally looked up. her brow
furrowed. "You're not going all mysterious on me. are you?" She tossed the magazine
aside and stood. walking over to join Hana
by the window.
"Maybe you're just restless. You've been cooped up in here too long. Why don't we
go out this weekend? Shake things up a hit." Minji suggested with a grin.
Hana smiled. but her mind was elsewhere.
It wasn't just restlessness. The feeling was deeper. like an instinct she couldn't ignore. Something was coming.
Back in the alley. Jungkook tensed as a shadow moved at the far end of the street.
His hand instinctively brushed the inside of his jacket, where he kept a small but
sharp blade hidden just in case. The figure approached slowly, deliberately, and Jungkook's heartbeat quickened. He knew this was no ordinary meeting. The man stepped into the light. his face partially obscured by the collar of his coat. but Jungkook recognized him immediately.
The Antagonist. a man whose very presence sent a chill down Jungkook's spine. He had been part of Jungkook's past
a past he had tried so hard to escape.
"It's been a while. hasn't it?" The man's voice was smooth. almost mocking, as if he
knew exactly what Jungkook was thinking
"Not long enough." Jungkook replied coldly.
his eyes narrowing. "What do you want?" The man's smile was unsettling, a cruel twist of his lips. "You know what I want.
Jungkook. It's time to settle our old score.
And this time, no running"
Jungkook's grip tightened on the blade hidden in his jacket. His mind raced. calculating the odds. He had been through worse, but this this felt different. More dangerous. And now Taehyung was
Involved.
Before Jungkook could respond. the man
turned and began walking away. his final
words hanging in the air like a threat. "Meet me at the old docks tomorrow night. You know what will happen if you don't."
Later that night. Hana found herself drawn
to the rain-soaked streets, unable to shake the feeling of Impending change. She had no destination in mind. just an urge to walk. to clear her head. As she turned a corner, she saw him Jungkook. He was leaning against a streetlight. his face half- hidden by the shadows. but there was something about him that made her stop in her tracks.
For a moment. their eyes met, and the world seemed to slow down. Hana felt a strange pull. like she had stumbled into
something far bigger than herself. But
before she could approach him. he turned
and disappeared into the night.
She stood there. the rain drenching her.
heart racing. Who was he? And why did
she feel like meeting him had just set something in motion something
dangerous and unavoidable?
