~~ DUNK ~~

"Ahem..." the lady cleared her throat ignoring my stupidity and smiled wide. "I hope I am not interrupting anything."

"I don't think you have any reason to be here, Ma'am." Joong's whole face and behavior changed suddenly. He became stiff and uncertain keeping his hands in his pocket.

"I didn't get a chance to meet your husband back in party. I wanted to greet him that's all. After all we are family..." The lady replied still smiling politely.

"We don't belong to same family. Except... for the fact that we have the same surname."

That's when I realized who she was. Though she looks younger in person as compared to her pictures, I could never believe that lady this elegant and beautiful was that brat Est Aydin's mother.

"Hello Ma'am." I awkwardly greeted her waving my soap cladded hand.
"Hi." She said still unable to get in the main gate as Joong was blocking the way.

"Why don't you sit inside and wait. I will change quickly and meet you?" I said ignoring Joong's angry eyes.

He huffed once but left the way and walked away as fast as he could, leaving me and her in awkward silence.

.......

"Dunk what the hell are you doing here this late?" Phu looked at me shocked.
I pushed him away and got into the house. Even if I have been staying at that ultra-huge villa since last few days, this still feels more like home to me. I feel like I fit in. "I need a drink."

"Your new house has a whole bar in it?" Phuwin said raising his eyebrow at me.
I looked back at him and he read my face. "Fine, I'll get some beer."

"So? Who died?" Phuwin threw a can at me and sat across on the floor with another can in hand.

"Joong's Mom." I sighed.

"Wasn't it like a few years ago? God! Is this some serious conversation? I will need wine."

"You don't have wine."

"Oh I do. It was a gift from..." He stopped in the middle of the sentence.

"From?" I asked curious.

"How does it matter? I'll get the wine. You want some?"

"I am fine with the beer. But you are definitely not getting away from that pause earlier."

"How about we discuss it after what you want to discuss?" Phuwin bargained.

"Alright." I gave up. Phuwin returned with a glass of wine and sat down again.

"Tell me."

"I met Joong's step mom today. And she told me what the Internet never tells." I said chugging a bigger sip.

"What is it?"

"I mean we all know about his fucked up family, but I never knew his dad had an affair with now-his-step-mom before he divorced his mother. In fact, his mother divorced his father and not the other way around."

"What does that change?" Phuwin shrugged.

"Everything. I mean... You know how I always complained about my father not caring about me and not leaving anything for me after he died..."

Phuwin nodded puzzled.

"Just imagine... his father betrayed his mother, and his entire family in front of his eyes. He was three... His biological mother was pregnant with Love... I mean that's all so fucked up."
Phuwin gulped the remains of his glass. "Yeah that's actually more fucked up than how our pasts have been."
