Jada tapped into her speed trail powers, leaving a dazzling trail of pink and orange as she sped toward the cabin. Once there, she paused to ensure the ancient scroll, which she had promised to return to the cave, was secure. Using her telekinetic abilities, she resized the scroll, shrinking it to fit comfortably in her pocket. With the scroll safely stowed, she resumed her swift journey back to the cabin. As she ran, her mind was occupied with questions: Why had the mysterious voice in the cave urged her to take the book? Why had it said she would need it in the future? And why had it referred to her as the "child of mystery"?

Jada reached the cabin and pushed open the door.

Amani, her brow furrowed with concern, glanced up. "Jada, did you put the book back in the cave?"

Jada forced a casual smile, though guilt tugged at her. "Yep," she replied.

Mimi's eyes widened in disbelief. "JADA, OH MY GOSH, I THOUGHT YOU DIED! WHAT WERE YOU THINKING, GOING INTO A CAVE AND TAKING SOMETHING ANCIENT?"

Aaliyah's voice cut through, sharp and urgent. "RIGHT? I WAS ABOUT TO SMACK YOU!"

Jada burst into laughter, shaking her head with amusement. "Y'all, calm down. It's not like I unleashed darkness on the world."

Mimi glared at her, her voice sharp. "DON'T JINX THAT."

Amani crossed her arms, clearly frustrated. "Seriously, why did you even go into the cave?"

Jada shrugged, a hint of guilt in her eyes. "I was curious and bored 😑."

At that moment, Mimi's timer dinged loudly. "THE COOKIES!"

Aaliyah's face lit up with realization. "Oh shoot, I forgot about that." They all rushed to the kitchen, laughter and urgency mixing as they hurried to salvage their cookies.

Aaliyah and Mimi peered into the oven, their faces illuminated by the warm glow. The cookies inside had turned a perfect golden-brown.

"Oooo, that looks good," Mimi said, her eyes gleaming with delight.

Aaliyah nodded in agreement. "Yuppp."

Mimi's hands began to emit a slight purple glimmer as she prepared to add a final touch. "Let me use some of my stardust to enhance the flavors," she said, gently sprinkling the magical dust over the cookies.

As the stardust settled, the cookies seemed to shimmer with a new, enticing aura. Mimi's voice took on a more serious tone. "We can't eat that much, remember—it's for the camp, like, for dessert at dinner."

Aaliyah's eyes twinkled with mischief. "But we did make the cookies," she said with a playful smirk. "Can't we have just a little taste?"

Mimi chuckled,  shaking her head. "We can just ask Jada to make us some more with her telekinetic constructs," she suggested, a grin forming on her lips.

Aaliyah's face lit up with understanding. "Yeah, that's smart," she agreed, nodding enthusiastically. The two friends shared a knowing look, already plotting their next sweet indulgence.

Aaliyah and Mimi exchanged a glance, their earlier conversation about the cookies momentarily forgotten.

"We should tell Principal Lumina that we're done making the cookies and dinner," Aaliyah suggested.

"Yeah, let's go tell her," Mimi agreed, both of them heading out of the kitchen.

Meanwhile, back in the cabin, Amani and Jada were deep in conversation. Amani's expression was serious as she addressed Jada.

"But seriously, Jada, what were you thinking? Why would you go into the cave and take something related to an ancient prophecy?" Amani asked, her concern evident.
