I have to give y'all a warning for the last scene of this chapter. It's graphic and extremely kinky. Read at your own risk and forgive me in advance.
(I have zero regrets writing it)
And I feel 95% better, my sickness was removed from me very quickly.

The group was airborne for about an hour already, all having a great time conversing about various topics; UAU, being a hero, having a girlfriend/boyfriend, living with them.
It was fun.
The majority of them were all getting along well. They all were, actually. But for Teka, it was very weird. Not because they didn't like her, but rather because she was so used to being on her own and was, in all honesty, so self-obsessed it was odd talking to people.
Everyone was chatting away and sipping various drinks as Teka sat towards the back, listening to everything.
"Care if I sit?" Drew asked as he motioned to the seat next to Teka and the woman shook her head.
"It's your jet."
He smirked and took a seat next to the model. He placed a hand on her thigh, rubbing it gently as she leaned into him. The woman's lava hair draped over his shoulders, making her flinch.
"You...you're fine?" She asks and he nods, taking the lava hair in his hands.
"I'm fireproof." He smirks and she does the same. They sit in silence for a few moments. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah. I'm fine." She replies. "This is just so new to me. When you're a model, everything revolves around you. Everything. Diet. Sleep. Training. Walking. Clothes. Makeup. If it doesn't improve me, I don't do it. So, to be part of a group...where I have to socialize...it's odd."
"It'll come to you. Kaina was similar. It took her a little time to get used to it. Even now she's still a loner to a degree."
"I can tell." Teka responded, pointing to Kaina sipping on wine by herself in the corner of the aircraft.
"I'm not the biggest socializer myself."
"Seriously? You're a pro at it."
"Indeed. I'm good with people, but I don't like them."
"Ah yes, humans." She jokes.
"You aren't wrong. I don't like humans much. I like you all, naturally, but the rest of the world? Not so much. But when I'm with my family, I feel very at peace. And I feel happy."
Teka looks around at everyone chatting away, smiles on their faces.
"It'll take some time for you to get used to this, but trust me, once you begin to bond with them, you'll see them as your sisters." Drew explains. He gives Teka a reassuring kiss on her forehead, causing the woman to close her eyes as he holds his lips there for a moment. "And you always have me."
