A Note from the Author:

This work was entirely an impulse decision. Well, sort of. I used to adore writing fanfiction, it was my healthiest escape from reality. While attending college, I took several psychology courses toward my degree and my all time favorite project I did was a psychological analysis of a fictional character from a familiar piece of media. It was mostly to test us how we applied what we learned to applicable life, without overstepping boundaries of real life people.

When I was younger, my favorite tv show was Danny Phantom. Around the time of this paper, I was introducing a friend of mine to it and was in the process of rewatching it myself. So, I used what I saw to write my paper. And then realized that, wow, I could write a whole story about this from a creative standpoint and not an academic standpoint.

This Place Will Become Your Tomb has been in the making for a while. It was an idea that ended up on the backburner until one of my lovely friends brought up the idea of merging two of my favorite things to create an engaging story. When the topic of combining Sleep Token songs and meanings with a Danny Phantom angst-focused fanfiction happened, I absolutely adored it! I was so excited because the presumed lore of Sleep Token and the stories behind their music is one of my favorites.

I will not lie, this is barely canon compliant, and I have no shame in it. But that's the beauty of fanfiction I suppose, being able to tell a story however you want and the people who want to read it and enjoy it will, and those who don't simply won't.
