Part 1 Chapter 17 Mending Worries

Everyone looked shocked at what Kurokage just said. Everyone but Yumi that is.

Yozakura: "Wait. You mean he killed his own family."

Katsuragi: "No way."

Minori: "Is Drake a bad guy?"

Auska: "Drake did."

Shiki: "Actually, I remember hearing about that."

Reiner: "Hmm."

I can't say that I blame their reactions.

Kurokage: "No, it's all a lie."

Hanzo+Gessen (Except Yumi and Reiner): "Huh?"

Yumi: "Grandfather is correct."

Minori: "Yumi?"

Reiner: "I figured. He doesn't strike me as the killer type."

Yumi: "I've known Drake since we were kids. I know he wouldn't do such a thing. *saddened* I also know what was really going on with his family."

Ryobi: "What do you mean by that?"

Drake: 'Here we go again.' "She means this." *shows everyone his scars*

Everyone is stunned at the scars across his body, Yozakura even covered Minori's eyes. Drake tells everyone his story, and what happened after the school incident.

Shiki: *shocked* "Your own father did that to you."

Yumi: "It wasn't just his father but also his mother, at least that's what Drake told me." *looks closer at his scars* "There are even more since I last saw them."

Kurokage: "His father was an old friend of mine, but he changed after he left his old squad. I lost touch with him for a long time. Some years ago, he contacted me out of nowhere and asked to help train his only son. That was when I met Drake for the first time, I trained him alongside Yumi as best I could, but his father wasn't pleased with his training and left without warning."

Drake: *covers back up* "He must've found out I told Yumi what happened. But that's all in the past now, I was lucky enough to get into Hebijo."

Yumi: *surprised* "You entered an evil Shinobi school!!"

Drake: "Unfortunately I didn't have a choice. It was that or spend the rest of my life looking over my shoulder. Does that make us enemies?"

Yumi: *shakes her head and smiles* "No, I'm just glad you're okay."

Shiki: *teasing* "Oooh Yumi's got a crush."

Yumi: *blushing* "What! Nonono you've got it all wrong we're just good friends."

Drake: *teasing* "Aaw now you've hurt my feelings."

Yumi: *still blushing* "Not you too."

We spent a long time just talking and catching up on things that happened, however I noticed that Hibari was nowhere to be seen. 

Drake: 'maybe she went to bed early.'

As much as I wanted to keep talking with everyone, I needed to return to Hebijo. I said my goodbyes to everyone and left Hanzo's academy. On my way out I was surprised to see Reiner chasing after me.

Drake: "Hey dude, what's up?"

Reiner: "Wanted to give you something."

Drake: *confused* "Give me something? Aren't we enemies?"

Reiner: "That doesn't matter to me. Besides we aren't exactly enemies right now, right? Anyways here?" *hands over a revolver*

Reiner: "I noticed your lack of ranged attacks, and even the ones you do have take time to use. I figured a gun would help you out a bit."

Drake: "Are you sure about this?"

Reiner: "Of course, besides I've got a lot more so it's fine. Oh, and you'll probably want some of these." *hands Drake a box of bullets*

Drake: "Huh, thanks man. Although I've never used a gun before, I'll have to ask Mirai for help. But seriously thanks."

Reiner: "No problem."

He waves goodbye as we go our separate ways. Getting back to Hebijo I noticed no one was awake at all.

Drake: 'They've must've all gone to sleep. Huh, sleep. That sounds nice right about now.'

Drake: *falls onto bed* "Ahh that feels nice." *grabs something soft* "Huh? What's that?" *squeeze squeeze*

I shot up from my bed to see Hikage laying on my bed, and the soft thing I was grabbing was her boobs.

Drake: *jumps back slightly* "Aaah Hikage what are you doing in my bed!?!"

Hikage: *groggy* "Oh, hi Drake. Welcome back. We were waiting for you."

Drake: "IN MY BED!!! Wait, did you say we?"

Yomi: *sits up* "Drake, could you please keep your voice down."

Drake: "YOU TOO!!!"

Yomi: "We were gonna wait for you in the living room, but Dogen ordered us to bed, so we didn't have much choice."

Drake: "Ugh. You know that's been bothering me for a while now. Why do you guys keep following his orders, why not say no every now and again?"

Yomi: "We can't."

Drake: "Huh? What do you mean? Why?"

Hikage: "Because of this." *reveals a strange mark the back of her neck*

Drake: "What is that?"

Yomi: "It's called the yoke technique. It's a forbidden technique basically it forces us to obey the person who branded us."

Drake: "And that person just so happens to be Dogen."

Hikage: "That's right, and if we don't do what he says... we die."

Drake: "Well, can't we break it or something."

Yomi: "No. Unfortunately, the technique can't be removed."

Drake: "Damn, so there's no way."

Yomi: "But enough of the depressing topics. Hikage and I have something important to tell you."

Drake: "Hm?"

Hikage and Yomi: "We love you!"

My brain tried to process what they just said but...

Drake: *blushes hard* "Huh! I mean I'm flattered, but I don't think we've known each other long enough for you guys to-"

Hikage cut me off with a kiss. It feels like it lasted for an eternity before she separates.

Hikage: "The two of us talked it out."

Yomi: "As it turns out we both share the same feelings for you."

Drake: *still blushing* "But isn't it strange for one guy dating multiple girls."

Yomi: "I don't see a problem."

Drake: "I-I see. So...what should we do now?"

The two of them looked at each other before looking back at me. There wasn't much sleeping that night. For any of us.
