"G-O! Let's go! G-O! Let's go!"

The girls cheered on the players and hyped up the crowd as the game went on. I wasn't paying attention to it, I just wanted to see Onika in action.

She looked cute in cheer uniform. Maroon is definitely her color. And that skirt, Jesus Christ forgive me.

Robyn nudged me and I immediately sent her a mean mug. "Just friends."

"You're staring at her like you wanna eat her," she chuckled. I rolled my even though deep down I knew it was true. It'd been a couple days since I heard what I heard, and since then I've been wondering if that was how she actually felt. I wasn't even paying attention to whatever Rih was saying because I was staring at Nicki the whole time.

I guess she could feel me staring because she turned around and scrunched up her face till she saw me. She needs to get her blind ass some glasses.

I waved at her, smiling broadly and she did the same, giggling and then turning back around. The game was coming to an end so I got up before the crowd could get too wild and decided to head over to the concession stands to see if they were still selling.

All of the cheering could be heard from over here so I knew the team had won.

I was trying to convince the girl behind the counter to let me pay but she took it as an opportunity to flirt.

"Oh, no need to pay baby. I got you." She smirked, leaning over the counter. I nervously chuckled, scratching the back of my neck. "But I–"

"And can I just say you look so fine." She bit lip and internally I cringed. I just want my chips and the water I was going to give to Nicki. But, I also don't want to be rude.

"Thanks? Uh, I really don't mind paying for the stuff–"

"I said you don't have to, but if you're really serious about paying then maybe you can meet me after and we could... hang out?"

My eyes went wide, I shook my head in protest. Before I could really respond I heard my name being called and smiled, looking back at Onika. She had red paint all over her arms and a little on her face. I'm guessing they used those paint bombs they were talking about last practice.

"BB! Why'd you leave? You missed the best part!" She laughed, wrapping her arms around my waist. My stomach churned pleasantly from her closeness. I brushed her stained hair out of her face. "Red looks good on you." I stared into her eyes and although I meant to say that in my head I knew she heard, just from her trying to hide her blush and biting down on her glossy bottom lip.

The girl behind the stand cleared her throat, causing us to look her way. There was no doubt in my mind that she felt embarrassed and genuinely I didn't want to make her feel that way. I handed her the three dollars I owed before I walked off with Onika.

I gave her the water and the chips I bought for her before opening my bag of Doritos. "Thank you Bey, you didn't have to."

"It's no problem, beautiful," I grinned, walking her out to the parking lot. "All in a day's work."

Nicki looked at me giggled softly, shaking her head. I was leading her to Lauren's car when some guys from the football team stopped us.

Aubrey and Michael.

Better known as Drake and Tyga. They were some of the worst football players I've ever seen, and their playbook on dating was ten times worse. Tyga is seventeen with a baby mama that won't let him see his kid, and Drake is a soft ass mama's boy that gets attached real easy and quick. They both religiously stay in their feelings.
