This take place at the Qiongqi path where Wei Ying has rescued the Wen clan from the labor work that they were force to work by the Nie, Jin and other disciple from the other sect.

That night Nie Huaisang went to his da ge room, "Da ge," Nie Mingjue wave for his didi to come into the room. "Da ge, do you like Wen guniang?" This got Nie Mingjue to go stiff. Nie Huaisang giggle at this, "here," He handed a green box to his brother.
"Doesn't this belong to your mother?" Nie Huaisang nodded his head. "Niang ask me to keep it for her. She said that if I ever find the one I love or that person is my soulmate, then I will give it to her. Since you like Wen guniang then you should give it to her or more like court her."

"I think this belong to Fuqin, it is now your turn to give it to Wen guniang this way whatever happen, we will protect Wen Gu- I mean Qing Jie Jie and her family."

The next day Wen Qing went to Nie Mingjue room to heal him. Even Nie Huaisang, Lan Xichen and Wei Ying is there as well. They watch as Wen Qing do her thing, Nie Mingjue is already asleep so it is easier for Wen Qing to check his spiritual meridian. "Just as I expected, my needle is not working."
"Not working?" Nie Huaisang went over to his big brother side, "Wei Wuxian, why don't you give it a try? Sect leader Nie said that Wen Ruohan attack him with the Yin iron energy, maybe you can use your Yin Hufu to take the Yin iron energy out of him?" Wei Ying look at Nie Huaisang, "Nie xiong?" Nie Huaisang gave a nod.
"Ah Zewu Jun, can you not tell Lan Zhan about me using Yin Hufu? He will get angry if he know that I am using it," Lan Xichen gave a nod he won't tell Lan Zhan about it.
Wei Ying take out his flute, he begin to play on it and when he did the Yin Hufu come out from inside of him as it float over to where Nie Mingjue is at. "Xichen ge, how come the yin Hufu is floating above Da ge?" Asked Nie Huaisang.
The two watch as the dark energy from within Nie Mingjue come out as it went into the Yin Hufu. A lot come out of Nie Mingjue body, "how come there so many dark energy inside or Da ge body?" Asked Nie Huaisang.
About an hour or so later all of the dark energy is gone from Nie Mingjue body. Lan Xichen look at Wei Ying, he see that Wei Ying is about to faint, "Wei gongzi," he caught Wei Ying in his arm.
"Don't tell Lan Zhan," with that Wei Ying fell asleep. 'If Wangji know he will get worry about Wei gongzi,' "Wen Qing?" Lan Xichen looked Wen Qing. "Zewu Jun, can you play your clan cleansing song? This will help Wei Wuxian to heal?"
"Okay," he then look at Nie Huaisang, "Huaisang, can you help me with Wei Wuxian?" Nie Huaisang went over to where Lan Xichen is, he help Lan Xichen to take Wei Yang to another room.
The next morning Wei Ying woke up with a calm guqin playing on the other side of the room, "if I were to compare which Jade twin play better,I will said Lan Xichen," Lan Xichen shake his head at this. He got up and walk over to check on Wei Ying.
"How do you feel, Wei gongzi?" Wei Ying seat up, "a lot better now, thank you."
"Mn."
'Mn? I do miss Lan Zhan right about now,' "by the way, how is Chifeng Zun?" Before Lan Xichen can answer Wei Ying a voice said, "I am doing fine thank you Wei gongzi," the two turn to see Nie Huaisang, Nie Mingjue and Wen Qing walking into the room.
"Chifeng Zun, I don't think it is just Wen Ruohan yin iron energy that cause your spiritual meridian to become disturb. I think there is more to it but with your permission can I look through your memories? Only the one I want to see."
"Da ge?" Nie Huaisang looked at his da ge, "okay." Nie Mingjue went to sit down in front of Wei Ying, "Chifeng Zun, we will do empathy."
"Empathy!? That is dang-" before Lan Xichen can finish what he is about to said Wei Ying smiled at him, "Xichen ge, can you be the one to help me to come out of my empathy?"
'Xichen ge?' Lan Xichen sigh, "okay."
Wei Ying put two finger in the middle of Nie Mingjue forehead.
Empathy
Wei Ying see Jin Guangyao is playing for Nie Mingjue, he see an evil smirk on Jin Guangyao face as he look toward Nie Mingjue.
Wei Ying look up at Nie Mingjue, he can see the pain and hurt on his face, "what game are you playing at Jin Guangyao?" He listen to the song that Jin Guangyao is playing for Nie Mingjue.
"Is this cleansing song causing Chifeng Zun to become discomfort? No, I don't think this is the Lan clan cleansing song at all. Xichen."
"Xichen." Lan Xichen summon up his Liebing, he begin to play on it and this bring Wei Ying and Nie Mingjue back to their own mind. "Wei xiong? What did you see?" Asked Nie Huaisang.
"Nie Xiong can you cover up your Da ge ear?" Nie Huaisang blinked at this, "Just do it Nie xiong." Nie Huaisang went to cover up his da ge ear, "Wei xiong tell me to cover your ear so you can't get angry at me."
Nie Mingjue glanced at Wen Qing who just hold back her giggle, "da ge," Nie Huaisang patted his brother ear, "what?"
"Are you going to give it to Qing Jie Jie?"

"Xichen ge, is this the song you taught Jin Guangyao how to play? Let me play it first to see if this is the right one or not okay?" Lan Xichen nodded his head. As Wei Ying begin to play and play and play, Lan Xichen opened his eye wide.

"Chifeng Zun, since you feel better now, you don't need Jin Guangyao to come play for you anymore." 'I think he is trying to kill Nie Mingjue but why?' "Wen Qing, why don't you get ready to leave? I'm sure the other wondering when will we come back."
"Okay," when Wen Qing walk out of the door way, Nie Mingjue went after her. "Nie Xiong?" Nie Huaisang have on a grin, "let's go," Lan Xichen sigh, he went along with the two mischievous friends.
"Wen guniang," Wen Qing stop walking, she turn around to look at Nie Mingjue. "Yes, sect leader Nie?"
"Here, I know that I am not a person to know what love is but...I won't hit or hurt the person at my side. I will do my best to protect my family and my wife so..." Nie Mingjue opened the green box.
"Wen- no I mean Qing, will you let me court you?" Wen Qing is shock and surprise to see Sect leader Nie want to court her. "Sect leader Nie?"
