Good news everyone, I'm not dead. I just been busy for a while on this special surprise. Not gonna lie, I think I got a surprise myself when I opened up Wattpad to find a barrage of notifications, specifically votes for TSLOP 3. Is it gaining popularity again or did I miss some TSLOP news? I'm curious and also scared.
Anyways, I mentioned I've been working on a special surprise. I would have waited until the holidays but I'm dying to tell you guys this. Coming this December, I'm publishing an official book that you can purchase from stores!
Story time, does anyone remember a long while ago when I wrote a TSLOP story that involved a secret agency? Don't worry if you can't remember it, I also can't remember what I even titled it. But the premise of that book was gonna be that the TSLOP gang found out about this horrible plan some animal had to ruin the lives of pets and they were put under the protection of this huge top secret agency run by animals. Unfortunately, I lost the inspiration for that book and it got purged years ago.
However, the idea never truly died.
That brings me to the beginning of this year. Now, I love writing and I always told myself that my dream jobs would be a voice actor, an artist and / or an author. I have auditioned for a few projects on YouTube, I have done animatics on YouTube. As for writing, all of my stories have been here or sitting in my Google Docs. But I have a large collection of story ideas in my head that I would love to publish for the world and I even jotted these ideas down in a Doc to make it easier for me to remember.
Earlier this year, I don't know how but I began to vaguely remember the ideas of the top secret agency run by animals. I couldn't remember all the details or the names of every character but the idea was there. Realizing that the idea still had the potential of being a good story, I jotted it down under the acronym GAP, meaning Global Animal Protection. I wrote a few little facts about it and thought I would leave it at that for the time being.
Wrong.
January 6th, I began writing a prologue and chapter one for this newfound book. As of two or three weeks ago now, it is finally complete with roughly forty chapters and plenty of comedic and serious moments throughout. And as of last week, I have acquired barcodes for a paperback and ebook version, I have also contracted a professional to help me design the cover and to typeset the book.
The book is titled Agents of GAP and, if all goes well, will be releasing December 1st of this year.
I had a fun time writing this story, I don't remember the last time I felt so much inspiration for a book. I hope you all love it as much as I do, it's gonna be the first of many books to come for this series too. I'll keep you all updated on the process and when the book releases.
