Ch. 12 : Changing Equation 🍂

Continue from the last part:

Second floor par chalte hain vahan par shoes ka new collection aaya hai" Mrunmayee said.

"Okay" everybody nodded their heads.

As they stepped into the elevator, Rajat and Savibodies pressed together as they leaned against the cool metal wall. The silence was broken only by the soft hum of the machinery. The elevator doors slid shut, isolating them in their own private world.

As the elevator descended, Savi felt a sense of tranquility wash over her. She closed her eyes, savoring the moment of peace. Rajat, standing beside her, noticed her serene expression and couldn't help but smile.

The tranquility was shattered when the elevator came to a jarring halt on the first floor. The doors slid open, and a wave of people surged into the confined space. The sudden influx of bodies caused a chaotic jostling, and Savi felt herself being pushed against Rajat.

Without hesitation, Rajat instinctively stepped forward, positioning himself between Savi and the encroaching crowd. His arms extended protectively, shielding her from the rough elbows and accidental bumps.

Savi, her eyes wide with surprise, looked up at Rajat. His face was etched with a determined expression, his gaze fixed on the crowd. She felt a surge of warmth and gratitude as she realized he was putting himself in harm's way to protect her.

Their bodies were pressed together, their breaths mingling in the confined space. Rajat could clearly feel Savi's hot breathes on his face as he was staring deep into her eyes, devoid of the environment around them.

Savi's heart pounded in her chest as she looked into Rajat's eyes. She saw a depth of emotion there that she had never witnessed before. A spark ignited between them, a connection that was both intense and intimate.

Others (family gang ) was looking at them adorably.

Savi slid her arms to Rajat's back and held him firmly. She could see Rajat's gaze getting intense as she kept on looking into his eyes. For some unknown reasons, she was feeling.... protected.

The lift halted at the second floor and many people got off. Mrunmayee shook the two to break their trance.

"Chalein? Ya ek dusre ki baahon mein aise hi rehna hai??" She asked.

Rajat and Savi gets separated from each other, embarrassed, and get out of the lift.

Wah Savi ! This kurti suits you!" Harini complimented her.

"Toh isko pack kara lein?" Savi asked

She looked at Rajat and raised her eyebrows for her opinion, asking him how she's looking. Rajat scrunched her nose and nodded negatively.

"Tai, actually kuch khaas nahi lag raha yeh... Koi dusra dekhte hain" Savi said as she went back to the changing room to change.

"Tumhe nahi pasand aaya?" Aman asked to Rajat once Savi left.

"Ummm..mujhe kya pata... Uski choice hai" Rajat shrugged off.

"Aman suno na , mujhe na bahot pyaas lag rahi hai... Chalo na paani le aate hain please?" Mrunmayee requested him sweetly.

"Okay, chalo...par tum (pointing towards rajat) yahan se jaana mat" Aman said.

"Kya yaar...chhota baccha nahi hain mai " Rajat said to which Aman chuckled.

As soon as he find Aman and Mrunmayee dissappearing from his sight, he ran to a place where he'd spotted something.

"Kahan gayi, kahan gayi..." he was searching something and finally found that. he ran towards Savi's changing room but found her coming towards him , herself.

Nervously, he hid that thing behind his back. "Ka hua?" Savi asked.

"Vo..." he took a deep breath and sighed, yeh..." he showed the thing in his hand, "try karengi?" he asked. It was a black designer kurti.

A smile was about to emerge on Savi's lips but she maintained her stern face in front of her. "Hmmm... Laaiye" she took the kurti from his and walked inside the changing room again.

Before Savi could come out, Aman and Mrunmayee arrived with a bottle of water. "Arey, tai Kahan gayin?" She asked.

"Vo dusra dress try kar rahi hain" rajat told her, while he himelf was desperately waiting for savi to come out.

"The sound of the door opening caught their attention. Savi emerged, wearing the outfit Rajat had suggested. A look of admiration crossed his face as he gazed at her ethereal beauty. When Savi saw him staring at her, she returned his gaze with a smile."

"This is the best!! Aap bhot beautiful lag rahi ho " Upon hearing Aman's compliment on Savi, Rajat face fell.

Savi gave a smile to Aman and She raised an eyebrow at Rajat, questioning his assessment of her. In response, Rajat curled his index finger over his thumb and extended the other three fingers, causing Savi to blush deeply and lower her lashes."

"Isko pack karate hain!" Savi finalized and Rajat smiled at her.

Seeing everyone engrossed in their own shopping, Rajat quietly slipped away, and goes towards Savi.

As Savi was about to enter the changing room, Rajat grabbed her wrist, turning her to face him. He drew her closer, studying her face intently gazing at her with a mischievous grin tucking a stray hair behind her ear, and softly whispered, 'Black is your color, Mrs. Thakkar.' With a wink, he let go of her.

Savi's cheeks turned pink because of His's comment on her and in order to hide her flushed self, she ran into the changing room...leaving a smiling Rajat outside..

"Chaat ko khayenge na sab " riddhi asked

"Haan haan mall aaye aur chaat na khaye aisa ho skta hain kya? Hain na guys ? (Asking everyone) " Tara replied

Everybody nodded.....

Rajat was about to deny but he noticed savi gazing at chaat stall he smiles at her and says : Haa chalte hai agar sabka ka maan hai mujhe koi problem nahi hai .....

Here harini who was noticing him chuckled inwardly.....

Harini : Haan chalo aaj hi chaat ho hi jaye .....

They went to the stall and the vendor started serving them one by one. Rajat was enjoying But as soon as his gaze fell on Savi his entire world slowed down there only. Everything was blurred at that moment except his focus which was on her ......

"Hayeee yeh to yahan phigal gaya " Harini Whispers to Mrunmayee as they noticed him .

She leaned towards Rajat's ears and whispered in a teasing tone, " Savi aaj se pehle itni khubsoorat kabhi nahi lagi na?"

"Kabhi nahi" Rajat answered not in her senses.

"Pyar ho gaya kya ?" Mrunmayee asked this time ..

"Hmmm?"

"Hmmmmmmm??????" Harini teased him more and Rajat looked at them

"Kya hua tai aap dono mujhe aise kyu dekh rhe ho ?" he asked..

" Humein toh kuch nahi hua par lagta hai tumhe kuch kuch zarur ho rha hai " harini said

" Mujhe ...mujhe ky hoga " Rajat replied

" Pyarrr " harini and Mrunmayee said in union....

"Pyar wo bhi Savi se kabhi nahi " Rajat said

" Par humein to Savi ka naam nhi liya " Mrunmayee said

" Aaa...woo...aisa kuch nhi hai" Rajat replied

" Ye tum mujhe bol rhe ho ya khudko smjha rhe ho ?"
Harini Slowly whispers to Rajat leaving him tensed

" Waisa lag to pyari rhi thi chaat khate huye ,ye mai ky soch rha hoon mujhe na isse dur rhena padega warna mai to pagal ho jauga chal beta Rajat yahan se chal " Rajat thought
