Her POV :

"As soon as we returned home from the hospital

Rajat looked at me , i was pressing my lips tightly. He rolled his eyes and I burst into laugh

"Oh my god the great CEO OF THE YEAR Mr Rajat Thakkar is scared of injection" I said between my laugh

As i was about to go into the bathroom Rajat held my hand and I looked at him and raised my head slightly asking 'What?'

"A playful smirk played on his lips as he shook his head, suggesting he was up to something."

I attempted to pull away, but he forcefully pulled me towards him, causing my eyes to widen. My head collided with his chest, and I reflexively held my breath

"Now laugh" I heard him whisper. I looked at him and he too looked at me. I could feel my heart crashing against my ribcage feared if he could hear it

What? I immediately pushed him away and stepped back. "Like seriously."

He slowly moved towards me and involuntarily I moved backwards. "Mr thakkar stay away."

The wall suddenly cut off my escape, and I squeezed my eyes shut as I sensed his presence just inches away. My stupid heart raced as he gently traced his finger along my cheek

My hands seemed to have a mind of their own. I couldn't bring myself to push him away, or maybe I didn't want to.

I hate to admit this his touch sent shivers down my spine.
" It felt so right "
Could I be falling for him?"

His POV :

She was trapped between me and the wall, looking utterly innocent with her eyes closed and her lips slightly parted. Her lips were irresistible, and it would be a lie if I said I didn't want to kiss her

I slowly traced my fingers down her cheek, and looked at her.
"I've caught myself looking at her many times while she laughed and made those cute expressions."

I don't understand how it happened, but I've slowly developed feelings for her. I'm still exploring my own emotions. I know for certain that I do like her

As I traced my fingers along her jawline, I smiled when she didn't resist. I gave her a gentle peck on the cheek. Don't ask me why?

"Let's take things slowly," I whispered softly, stepping back. Her eyes widened, and for a moment, I could see the confusion in her eyes. But the blush on her cheeks made me smile even more.

I went into the room and started using my laptop. Sigh! I had a massive pile of unread emails to sort through.

Five minutes later, she walked in, muttering curses under her breath .....

My eyes were fixed to the laptop screen but I knew she had been shooting glares at me. I looked up from the screen and still I found her rather cute and tempting, with that cute little anger on the tip of her nose.

*She is driving me crazy*

"I know I am handsome but that doesn't mean you need to stare at me."

She stomped her foot in anger and said "Handsome. My foot."

She stormed over to the bed and lay down, She gave me a look that could kill before turning away to the other side

Okay I couldn't focus on work anymore.

I set the laptop aside and snuggled up next to her. Feeling mischievous, I started pulling the blanket towards me, hoping to annoy her. She sighed dramatically and countered by pulling it back. We were engaged in a silent battle of blanket tug-of-war, each determined to claim the cozy comforter. In a final attempt to win, I yanked the blanket with all my might. To my surprise, she let go, and I found myself tumbling unceremoniously off the bed

"Aaaahhh." My head banged on the floor and it hurt. I glared at her and she had been laughing.

"This is what you get for messing with me." She rolled her eyes at me, before taking the blanket.

I glared at her but she simply ignored me and laid down on her side. I don't know how does she manages be cute as well as annoying at the same time?

I didn't even realize when my lips curved into a small smile.
