Izuku was getting ready to leave in the mid-evening, he was sitting on the floor pulling on his knee pads while Hizashi sat on the couch and Shota sat on the window sill. They were talking about their patrol schedules seeing if any of them synced up, Hizashi reached out for Izuku's mask which was resting on the coffee table. Izuku smiled watching Hizashi pull it over his head and settle it into place on the bridge of his nose.
"Alright, what do we think?" Hizashi questioned turning his head side to side, showing off the mask, Izuku snorted pulling on his shoes.
"Eh," Shota huffed making Hizashi gasp dramatically, Shota chuckled and Izuku giggled. Izuku stood readjusting his knee pads to sit properly, now the only thing he needed was his mask. "Are you only going out wearing that?" Shota questioned catching Izuku's attention.
"Yeah, but I'm planning on changing to my winter costume soon," Izuku replied and Shota frowned, it was freezing outside, even he wore warm clothes underneath his costume this time of year. Izuku was just wearing his boxers underneath his costume. Hizashi pulled Izuku's mask off and handed it to him.
"You're gonna catch your death out there!" Hizashi stated his voice filled with worry, Izuku scrunched up his face at the use of the term, Hizashi sounded like his mom. Shota slipped behind Izuku and down the hall as the duo bickered about Izuku's lack of self preservation.
"Here take this, it doesn't fit either of us anymore," Shota murmured returning with a black leather jacket in hand, Izuku took it and looked it over, it was a normal leather jacket and it felt heavy in Izuku's hands, the inside was lined and gave weight. Izuku noticed a patch sewn just above the breast pocket with Hizashi's radio show emblem.
"You sure?" Izuku asked looking to Shota and Shota nodded motioning for him to put it on. Izuku pulled it over his shoulders and was immediately met with warmth from the thick leather and a wave of Hizashi's cologne, he grinned showing it off to the two older men.
"It looks so good!" Hizashi praised clapping his hands as Izuku gave a little spin, Izuku preened at the praise his grin turning into a sheepish smile while he messed with the zipper on the cuff of his sleeve.
Shota smiled at Izuku before turning to glance at the clock on the wall, "you should probably get going Bambi," he murmured and Izuku groaned dramatically. Izuku didn't want to go on patrol tonight, he really just wanted to go back into Shota's room and curl up in the blankets next to the two older men. Hizashi hopped up and wrapped his arms around Izuku's waist, resting his chin on Izuku's shoulder and shooting Shota a puppy eyed look.
"Can't we keep him, just a little longer Sho, pleaseeee?" Hizashi's whined making Izuku giggle.
"He has work Zashi, come on," Shota huffed fondly pulling Izuku from Hizashi's arms and walking him to the window, picking his bag up along the way. "Be safe Bambi, we'll see you tomorrow," Shota offered his bag and Izuku took it with a smile, he pulled it over his shoulders and wrapped his arms around Shota in a quick hug. Hizashi quickly joined them in the hug before Izuku climbed out the window, he grinned and waved before jumping off the fire escape and into the night.

Izuku climbed through his own window around 2:30, he looked up as he swung his leg over the window sill and made eye contact with Inko who just got home from her night shift. The two stared at each other before Inko grinned and shouted, "dibs on first shower!" Izuku gasped and threw himself through his window clipping his foot on the sill and meeting the floor with a grunt.
Not letting that deter him he scrambled up and ran into the hall catching a glimpse of Inko running into the bathroom and slamming the door. Izuku groaned letting his body fall against the door as his mother giggled from inside the bathroom.
"I'll remember this!" Izuku shouted through the door making Inko giggle more. He sulked back to his room dropping his bag by his door as he toed off his shoes and pulled off his jacket. His hand ran across the worn-out leather as he smiled softly, turning his carefully draped it across the back of his desk chair before dressing down the rest of the way, throwing his hero costume in his laundry basket.
He changed and hopped in his bed, letting his body sink into the mattress. After about 20 minutes Inko joined him in his room, plopping down on the bed beside him she playfully flicked his nose. Izuku scrunched up his face and swatted her hand away from him. He was curled up in his blankets looking like the snuggest bug in a rug.
"Mama, can I talk to you about something?" Izuku whispered after a few quiet moments gaining Inko's attention. Inko hummed turning to give Izuku her full attention.
"Is it about your friends?" Inko questioned and Izuku glanced away from Inko before nodding.
"What if," Izuku started before tugging the blanket up to cover the bottom half of his face. "What if they're older than me?"
"How old are they?" Inko asked curiously scooting closer to her son.
"Mid to late 20s," Izuku responded in embarrassment, his cheeks flaring up.
"And how old are you?"
"19," he mumbled ignoring Inko's gaze and opting to stare at his mother's green curls. Inko hummed rolling onto her feigning being deep in thought.
"I don't give a shit," she finally stated turning to smirk at Izuku who was wide eyed and staring at her in shock, "You're an adult Izuku, you can date other adults. As long as they treat you right and make you feel safe I don't care how old they are." She paused for a moment before furrowing her brows, "Actually I take that back, don't go above 40 unless they have money."
Izuku snorted shaking his head, Inko giggled pulling one of Izuku's blankets over herself. They laid there for a few minutes, Inko watched Izuku silently as he stared at his blanket deep in thought.
"I found out they're together this morning," Izuku stated and Inko nodded, "should I still go for it or just leave it alone?" He asked looking to his mother for an answer.
"I can't decide that for you Izuku," she brushed a few stray hairs out of Izuku's face as she continued, "do you think you should leave it alone?"
"Well they're together and I don't know if they're open to the idea of poly, but they treat me like I'm already their partner," Izuku groaned in frustration, "I don't know!"
"Zu, you should talk to them."
"But it's going to be awkward!" Izuku huffed pressing his palms into his eyes.
"Then kiss them." Inko shrugged rolling over and making herself comfortable in Izuku's bed.
"That's even worse!"
