'I have to tell dad' I say to Edward. 'Ok, let me come to.' I nod as he helps me up. 'I'm nervous Edward' I admit. 'Don't worry love' I says smoothing my hair. There's a knock on the door and I open it. It's Alice, 'can I come?' I glance at Edward. 'Yeah if you want, Jazz can too. I might need him.' She smiled, 'Jazz!' She called. Jasper was at her side instantly, 'yes Ali?'

'Do you want to come with us to tell Chief Swan? Your gift might be useful.' Jasper looked at me then nodded 'Yes I will, anything to help.'

As we get out front Rose and Emmett are waiting with the jeep. 'Moral support' Alice explains. As I climb in I thank them all. 'It's nothing compared to what happened to you. Just hope that your house is big enough to hold us.' Emmett says.

My heart is pounding as we pull up. The cruisers parked outside and I can see the tv flicking. A wave of calm comes over me and I smile at Jasper.

I knock on the door with Edward at my side and the others behind me. Charlie opens the door and looks at us, 'Hello Bella, Edward. And you lot.' Everyone greats him.

'Dad I need to tell you something' I feel another wave of calm come over me. 'What is it Bella?' Alice is sitting in the arm of the sofa and she puts a hand on my shoulder. Rose and Emmett are stood behind me and Jasper and Edward are to the left, each put a hand on me. 'Don't freak out.' I beg. 'God you aren't pregnant are you?' He asks.

'No dad, I was Raped yesterday when I was in Seattle with Jess and Angela.' He jumped up, 'What! Please tell me your joking.' I shake my head. 'It's true Chief Swan. I'm so sorry' Edward says.

'Are you ok Bella?' Alice asks. I shrug, not wanting to talk. She rubs my arm encouragingly. 'Carlisle checked her over, she's fine just a few bruises. We also did a pregnancy test. It's negative.' I looked at Rosalie. They hadn't told me this.

Edward squeezes my hand and I smile at him. 'Oh Bells I'm so sorry, what did the boys look like?' I glance at Edward he shakes his head slightly. 'I don't know dad, I really don't want to remember. I just want to forget it.' I start to cry again.

'Sir can we take her to ours?' I hear Edward ask. 'Yes, she needs to be around you. I can see you truly do care for her.' I smiled through the tears as Edward pick me up into his arms. 'Take care' Dad says as we walk out the door.

Edwards wants to drive on the way back so I sit in the back with Alice and Rose. Jasper and Emmett were on the back in the bed of the trunk. I curl my knees into my chest, not bothering with my seat belt. I trusted Edwards driving and it was almost dark so no-one could see.

I felt both Rosalie and Alice put arms around me. The tears continued to fall and even a wave of calm from Jasper doesn't help. I felt Rose pick me out of the car and take me into the Cullen house.

I was laid on the sofa as I continued to sob. I roll over to face the back. I didn't feel hungry or thirsty I just needed to be alone. Slowly I drifted into a fitful dream.
