"Ansh!" Naina's voice brimmed with excitement as she sprinted toward Reyansh. Without a second thought, she threw herself into his arms.

Reyansh caught her with ease, his arms encircling her in a tight embrace. It was as if the weight of his week-long trip melted away the moment her warmth pressed against him.

"I missed you, biwi jaan," Reyansh whispered, his voice tender, barely above a murmur. He lifted her just enough for their foreheads to meet, their breaths mingling, and in that quiet gaze, unspoken words danced between them.

Naina's lips curved into a smile, her heart racing. "I missed you more, Ansh," she breathed, her voice trembling with the weight of her emotions. She wrapped her arms tighter around his neck, pulling him impossibly closer, their bodies fitting together perfectly.

Reyansh buried his face into the crook of her neck, inhaling deeply, the familiar scent grounding him. His arms tightened protectively around her waist, holding her as though he was afraid to lose her again.

"I couldn't wait to get back to you," he confessed softly, his voice raw with sincerity, as though her presence was the only thing that had kept him sane.

"Haan, isliye you haven't answered my calls since last night, haina?" she teased, narrowing her eyes with a playful smirk.

"Oh, about that... I'll tell you once we get home," he replied, taking her hand as they walked toward the car.

"You sit, I'll drive," Naina insisted, opening the passenger door for him.

"Thank you, biwi jaan," Reyansh said with a grin, settling into the seat. Naina rounded the car and took the wheel, igniting the engine as they drove out of the airport. Their conversation drifted to light, mundane topics until Naina glanced at him with a mischievous smile.

"Reyansh, there's something for you on the back seat."

Curious, he turned around, reaching for a bouquet of blue tulips and a leather-bound diary. His fingers gently grazed the petals as a soft smile lit up his face.

Naina stole a glance at him, her heart swelling at the sight of his tender smile, silently praying for this moment to last forever.

"I love you, Naina. Thank you so much for these," Reyansh said, his voice full of warmth. He placed the bouquet in his lap, his fingers running over the diary's cover.

"Won't you open the diary?" she asked softly, her eyes glinting with anticipation.

Reyansh opened it slowly, recognizing the familiar scrawl of her younger self. The scent of old paper wafted through the air, instantly pulling him into memories of their youth. It felt like they were teenagers again, living the dreams they had once spoken of in secret.

"Read the one from the eighth of December, Reyansh," Naina whispered, her voice tinged with nostalgia.

He flipped through the pages until he found the entry, his eyes scanning the poem:

"Let's pause time,
Hold on to this moment,
As if the world won't turn again.

In your eyes,
I see a fleeting forever,
A warmth that trembles with the end.

Let's stay here,
In this world I've created in my head,
Where it's just us—only us.

Because once we leave,
The world will claim us back,
But this moment?
It's ours to keep."

Reyansh's heart raced as he read her words, the depth of her love for him filling the space between them. He swallowed hard, overwhelmed by the memories, by the devotion she had always carried for him.
