CHAPTER 13

A/N POV

The day after the confession went well for Alex and Adenine, they went on a date and learned alot about each other.

About Will and Hazel?
Well Hazel couldn't trust Will and that's for sure, Will was thinking about how to gain her trust on him.

With the help of Adenine and Alex he managed to go to the mall with Hazel.

HAZEL'S POV

Because of lex and addie I'm here in the mall with Will, I couldn't even get to sleep properly and I haven't had breakfast.

This mf is still busy shopping for himself while I'm starving here.
"Are you done, Will?" I asked him in frustration.
"Wait a min, kitten" When will he stop calling me kitten?
"I can't wait anymore Wi-" I was cut off by people screaming and shouting out of nowhere.
We both looked at each other and followed the screams.

One of the shops in the mall caught fire.
The images of the past started getting visible in front of my eyes.
I don't know what was going on in Will's head he started walking towards the fire.
"W-will don't go there" I called out for him but he just went inside.

He can't be leaving me too, I can't afford to loose him, please God don't let anything happen to him.

I saw him coming out of the fire with a kid in his arms, he handed the kid to his parents and started walking towards me, a faint smile on his face.
He collapsed his body on mine as I held him close.

I can't even think of anyone else rather than Alex, I immediately called him,

Heyy haze!

                            Alex p-please come here, fast. Please

Haze what happened?

   Ad-addie please come here.

Don't worry haze
we'll be there in no time

Saying this he hung up the call and I looked at Will who's head was now on my lap.

After sometimes Alex and Addie came there. Just as they arrived Alex dropped on his knees and softly patted Will's face.
"Heyy baby Jackson get up" He tried to stay calm but the way his voice trembling I know he was scared for his best friend.

He picked up Will in bridal style and took him to his car as me and addiee followed him.
I looked at Addiee as she pulled me in her embrace.

"It's ok haze" She said rubbing my back in a comforting way.
"He won't leave me, right?" I sobbed in her arms
"He won't, I promise" Just as she said this we heard Will's cough.

We looked at him and saw Alex making him drink water. Immediately after Will's eyes landed on me and he frowned.

"Hey kitten, why are crying?" He asked his voice genuinely a concerned one.
"Over you idiot" Alex said to him
"Huh? What?" Will asked confused.
"What did you do that you got unconscious? " Addiee asked
"There was fire and a kid was stuck there so i just went to save him" Will said

"What are you, a superhero? Why would you put your life in danger? Didn't you even think of someone who love you?" I said my whole body trembling.
He approched me and hugged me.
"I'm so sorry, kitten. I'm sorry that you are crying because of me" He said as I just sighed.

"Let's go to our apartment, you both should take a rest" Addiee said as we all agreed and went to our apartment.

Immediately after we entered our apartment I said,
"I'm gonna sleep" As I just headed towards my room to sleep.
"Sleep well, kitten" Will said as I just gave a thumbs up.

WILL'S POV

After haze went in her room we all sat on the couch and lex and I looked at addiee.

"Why was she crying this much? And why was she trembling?" I asked as before starting Addiee took a deep breath and said.

"When she was 5 yrs old she came to know about her father abusing her mother. She was little but knew everything that was going on around her" She looked at us and again Contunied "She started hating her father because her mother was the sweetest women, haze loved her mother so much, one day when she came back from her kinder garden she couldn't believe what she was seeing in front of her, the whole house was on fire and two men were taking out a body on a strecher, the body was covered with a white cloth, but the hand was uncovered and she saw the ring in the finger, it was her mother's she couldn't even stand there and so she ran to the park near her house and there she met me, Adenine. The orphanage lady took me and haze and raised us there, at the age of 17 we both moved out from the orphanage and started to make our own career. And the reason haze was crying was that she missed her mom" Addiee finished off as me and alex looked at each other.

"I can show her Mom's photo to you" She said as she stood up followed by me and alex. She entered Haze's room as we did too. Haze was sleeping soundly, she was wearing a penguin costume and I guess it's her pajamas. Addiee showed a old photo of lady in her 30s. She is beautiful and I think Haze looks alot like her mother.

After seeing the photo we went out of her room and Alex said to Addiee,
"We'll head back to our house too" Alex said as Addiee looked a bit sad.
"We'll meet tomorrow at university, angel" Alex said as he noticed her sad face.
