CHAPTER TWO

Eloise

The tall guy entered the bus and I had to admit that he wasn't any less handsome from up close.
He looked older than me or maybe i was just thinking that because of how tall he was.

Seriously what did they feed the guy?

He had thick and short brown hair, warm brown eyes and rather tanned skin.
But If I was honest to myself anyone could look tan next to me, which was  a curse considering we could never tell if I went on vacation.
It's not like I had any friends to return to after vacations anyway.

I really should've stopped staring at him if I didn't want him to notice it but it was like my eyes had a mind of their own because there was  something about that stranger that made it impossible to look away.

And as to confirm my earlier thoughts, the handsome stranger looked my way.
I didn't have any time to read the look on his face because of how fast I looked away, feeling my cheeks heat up with embarrassment.

Stupid, stupid eyes!

As I was looking out the window or rather pretending to look out the window.
I felt a shoulder brushing against mine, meaning that someone had sat in the spot next to me.

I nearly jumped back in shock as I turned to look at what that someone looked like only to see that this someone happened to be the same guy who caught me staring at him.
And now he was doing the same to me.
Sometimes I hated my luck, or rather lack of luck.
Please don't say anything.

I repetitively thought to myself. I was so loud even in my own head,  so much that I had to focus to hear what next came from his mouth.

"Hi, you're new here aren't you?" He said and unfortunately his voice was just like his looks, annoyingly perfect.

I turned his way trying to put up a complete sentence without making it too obvious that I was embarrassed.

"Yeah, I am." I answered shortly trying to avoid any eye contact.
For goodness's sake I really needed to stop acting like that!
He smiled and dimples appeared at each sides of his mouth. "I'm Finn."
He said, extending his hand for a handshake, and I smiled back as I shook his hand back and answered. "I'm Eloise."
"Eloise..." he repeated, my name rolling out his tongue before smiling again.
What was wrong with him?
I looked out the window, trying to ignore how awkward this whole situation was.

After what appeared to be hours but actually was a few minutes what looked like a castle came into my vision.

What in the Hogwarts was that?

"Looks like we've arrived, will you need me to help you look around? Make friends? Or maybe just so you can keep staring at me..." Finn said a smirk on his face.

All I did was nod, not paying attention to what he had just said as I watched all the students get out of the bus, heading towards the school.

I let out a big sigh to give me courage before doing the same, feeling the weight of my backpack on my shoulders I started walking to what was now my high school.
And it was only as I walked that I eventually realized the words tall guy, Finn, had said and my eyes widened at the realization that he knew I was staring like a creep.
