Part one : The journey to Jade Mountain
Chapter One

She was going outside to see if she got her application in her new delivery system that Starflight invented a few years ago. When she looked into her message box she saw a small scroll inside. The scroll read: You have been invited to Jade mountain academy. School starts in a few moons. We look forward to seeing you. Her scales grew a bright pink with joy and happiness. She ran inside as fast as her limbs could carry her. Once she was inside she told her mother he great news

"Mother! Mother!"

"What?" asked the leafwing.

"I got into Jade mountain academy!" the hybrid responded.

"Oh that's great Destinymaker"

"Also school starts in two weeks."

"Then you should get ready."

"Ok mom," said Destinymaker before jumping off to her room.

She started wondering about the dragons that would be in her winglet. Would they also be hybrids? She obsessed over this question but decided to ignore it until she got to Jade mountain. As she was walking away to go to her room she realized that she had not read the entire scroll. She went back to grab the scroll and saw that there was a list of all the winglets. She unrolled the scroll and started looking for her name. Jade winglet...Sandfly...Silver winglet...Soot...Diamond winglet...Minnow...Hybrid winglet...Wait, Hybrid winglet? She looked through the names and saw that they were all hybrids. When she got to the bottom she saw her name and all her scales turned bright pink in joy. I won't be the only hybrid! Her thoughts raced as she went to her room to pack some stuff.

The journey to the other continent took a few days so she would have to bring some supplies, like food, camping supplies, and a desalination machine made by Starflight's child, Amaya. She also brought some seed, in case she needed to grow extra food, and also for defending herself, and for the gardening classes at the academy.

"Ok mom, I'm all packed," She said.

A split second after she said that she got one of those visions that she does not look into. Her seer powers were like the legendary Clearsight, many centuries ago except even more powerful, but every once in a while she got a vision from out of nowhere like right now. Oh great, just what I need, She thought before she could clearly see what was happening. She saw herself flying away from a big storm, on the web bridges connecting the two continents. She got sucked into the storm and engulfed by the thick gray clouds. Just then the vision stopped and she got shot back into reality. Visions like that normally just gave her headaches, but this time it brought something else: Fear. That was something she had never felt in her life before. When she walked downstairs, her mother was there.

"We should get ready to leave in a 9 days so we will have one day to explore the territory around and inside the academy, because on average it takes about four days, if we sleep for good amount and take a long time to eat, otherwise I guess we could just go a bit faster and arrive early," her mother said.

"Orwecouldleavetomorrowandgetthereearlysowehavemoretimetoexploretheareaandlearnmoreabouttheacademy." stammered Destinymaker, visibly stressed.

"Oh-kay?" Said her mother in a confused tone. "I guess if that's what you really want, then we could go a little earlier."

Relief spread through her wings as she heard what her mother said, and after being calmed she was able to relax and read her favorite book. After a few hours she realized it was late and decided to go to bed, because tomorrow she had a big day ahead of her.
