It should be here somewhere; my hands grab the bottom of my bag as I empty everything out. I groan again and get more annoyed.

It should be here, I put it in my back pocket! Why the fuck can't I find it anywhere? I push the couch back a bit and look underneath, nothing. Allie bought me that phone. She's going to kill me; I just know she is.

I grab the carpets and shift it over, but nothing. I attempt to run my fingers through my tangled hair; damn I need to wash it. I get my bag and put everything back inside. Knowing I have class in about 20 minutes, I throw my curls up into a bun and walk over to the door. I put my hoodie and shoes on, and walk out the door.

The minute I open my door, I gasp shocked as I see his tall body overshadowing my own. One arm was leaning on the top of the door, the other hand in his pocket.

"Shit you scared me!"

His muscles refract with every shuffle he makes. Half his top raised slightly, revealing the tattoos and v-line, I wonder if- Snap out of it El. His shirt was short sleeved, revealing every drawing that were wrapped around his arms, then there was me. Only reaching his chest.

I crane my head up to look at him "August if you're going to complain about the noise-" he takes out my phone and hands it over to me, my eyes widen in shock as I take it from him gently. "Where did you find it?"

"The service men were trying to stop you the other night to give it to you." That explains why they were huddling around me like a bunch of ducks.

"Thank you so much August, I was really going crazy for a minute." I chuckle, scratching the back of my head.

He nods his head and pushes himself away from the door, he bends down to pick his gym bag on the ground before walking down the hallways. I close my door, giving him a few minutes before I walk out myself.

After a few minutes, I'm now getting in my car to drive to my college.

I park in my usual spot and shut my door; making sure to lock it before I walk inside the reception, then to the hallways.

The hallways are white marble floors with dark walls, having statues and paintings covering them. The doors are large and pure wooden. Numbered with silver digits that match the fancy metal handles.

Damn this is a fancy ass school.

I reach my locker, before hearing a few gossips. "Have you seen Noah's step-brother?"

"Who hasn't? Some girls fake going to the gym just to see him."

"I heard someone's written-"

I open the lock to the door, and it opens.

I shove some of my recent books inside and watch the hallway clear.
Suddenly, my locker slams shut, and my fingers get caught inside. "Fuck!". I try to look up to the body that closed it, but they disappeared before I could catch a look. I groan and grab my bag as I head down to my Art class. My eyes threatening to let tears leave, but I blink them away.

"Settle down Ellie, we are taking a pre-test to see where you are" I nod my head and take my seat towards the middle of the class. He hands me a paper while I settle down my things and take my bag out. I begin completing some of the questions. Then one question comes into mind;

It was two images.

The work shown is the Screen with the Siege of Belgrade and Hunting Scene, attributed to the Circle of the González family c. 1697–1701 CE. The materials and subject matter in the work demonstrate interaction between different cultures.
