You were currently in bed...You'd thought you'd been awake this whole time but nope...Apparently, it was some type of nightmare...(Imagine we've had a couple other nightmares before this one.)

How did you know this wasn't real? Well for starters every time you attempted to move it felt like your body was fighting for dear life....and when you attempted to talk no words would come out, it was almost as if you were frozen like time was being stopped except the only being stopped was you while you watched as everything else moved on around you.

You attempted to scream but again no words came out...You were trying your hardest to look away and keep focus on a specific area, you didn't want to know what others things might've been lurking in the dream behind you, ahead of you...Whatever....

You felt your breath gasping for air and your eyes shot open.

Your body felt hot, You took a second to take in that the dream was over, that everything would be okay now...

You looked up and saw a worried looking Nexus.

"Why didn't you tell me that you were having nightmares?."

He asked his voice full of concern and slight frustration from the worry.

You looked away and frowned, bundling yourself back up in the covers.

"I don't know...It's just a dream...I'm fine I promise...It's over now and nothing bad happened."

Nexus gave an "I don't believe you." Look.

He then let out a small sigh.

He took a hand and placed it onto the covers, he looked up at you and rolled his eyes muttering a small.

"I can't believe I'm doing this..."

You looked up at him feeling shocked and confused.

"Nexus what are you?-

"Do you want me to stay with you? I don't want to leave and have you stuck in your thoughts because of a bad dream."

You gave Nexus a small glare.

Man, he had attitude....

Nexuses gaze softened for a second.

"Look I'm sorry okay? I'm not good with my feelings, you know that..."

Nexus let out a sigh.

"But...Would you like me to stay?... Just to comfort you enough where maybe you can get a decent nights sleep?."

Nexus gave a playful smile and tugged at the edge of your cover again.

"I'm only offering this once, so if you say noooo."

His smile widened.

"Going once...Going twice..."

You giggled at his attempt to sound like a bidder.

"Alright fine....I would like for you to stay with me..."

"Annndddd Sold."

Both you and Nexus chuckled, he then crawled into the bed next to you....

At first, it was a bit awkward, but the two of you had eventually made your way past the pillow fort that had been wedged in between the two of you.

Nexus heard a light snore...He looked over to you and smiled...

Just as he was about to get up, you turned in your sleep!

Your arm draped over Nexus, his eyes widened not really sure what to do....

After a few moments of thinking he let out a defeated sigh, he wrapped his arms around you and pulled you close, giving a light kiss on the top of your head.

"God...Why are you always so cute....It's so...Infuriating sometimes..."
