"Mega Job Lando, you're still in. Q1 is finished." the Aussie inform him

"What position am I?!"

"P11, Let's try and overtake Perez before Q2 is out"

Lap 9/12

"We're currently at P5, Let's try to get front-row. Preparing for drs use." the last part was muffled by the sound of coughing

"Sorry Osc! didn't copy, repeat!" oh fuck fuck fuck, Qualifying is almost over. And he's either stuck with second row, or die trying to get first row. And Oscar muffled voice isn't helping with the stress!

"Osc?!"

"Sorry- prepare to use drs. Copy?"

"Loud and Clear."

"P2. Lan- try overtake charl- ugh" again, the Aussie voice was cut by the coughing fit.

"mate you good? I don't quite catch you!"

"Sorry, try overtake Charles. Max is 1.4 second behind, safe for attack" Finally, the voice came clear

"Copy."

Lando can't believe it, he got pole!

"Wohoo! great job everyone! another pole to the collection!!" He laugh into the radio, he's very happy, fuck who wouldn't be happy to qualify front row? let alone a pole mate!

But no reply came from the other side.

"Osc? you there mate?"

And finally, a voice came from the other side "Mega job Lando! let's catch that podium tommorow!" but it's not Oscar's.

"Thank you. Where's Oscar?"

"No need to be worried mate, go to the pit line first" And Lando do, as the new voice told him to.
