Meeting

When you finally regain consciousness, you find yourself in an unfamiliar place, in a dark and cold room.  It takes you a while to get your bearings, the lingering effects of the sedatives still clouding your thoughts.

"Oh... Shit.. my whole body hurts.." you mutter.

Your eyes adjust to the dim light and you realize you're in a room at Bonten headquarters, a space that reeks of cold efficiency and callous brutality.

Yes, that's right, you can feel the brutality for a hundred miles.

Oh, I'm lucky, literally..

Your body is cleansed and treated, it seems that while you slept you had a thorough care.

You don't even know whether to be grateful or angry.

You try to recall the memories

Finally it made sense to you, all the weird things that have been happening to you for the past few months...they had a hand in everything!

Two months ago

It's been two years since you last saw your best friend, Chifuyu, and you're excited for his upcoming visit.

The anticipation of seeing him again has put you in a great mood and you can't help but feel happy as you thoroughly clean the apartment.

Since graduating from college and moving to Tokyo, your life has been great, let alone perfect for you. You have a great job that you love and you've gotten to know the city. You have managed to create a fulfilling life for yourself in the bustling city of Tokyo.

And that's called progress.

You look around your apartment, making sure everything is tidy and perfect for a visit.

"No dust or dirt.." you say to yourself, nodding your head at the perfect cleanliness of your apartment.

"I wonder if Chifuyu has changed, in that time.." you mumble a bit worried but then the worry leaves you when you remember.

You had always shared a close bond with Chifuyu, as he was one of the ones who understood you the most since you moved to Japan, and after entering high school, your friendship only grew stronger. And despite his gangster facade, you knew deep down that he had a kind heart.

Suddenly a realization hits you.

"Oh no! I almost forgot! I have to go shopping before Chifuyu arrives!" You almost scream the words.

You grab your purse and apartment keys before heading out.
„Looks like it's going to be a sunny day... nothing can go wrong." you say to yourself and with a nod you lock the door behind you and head out of the apartment complex.

You feel excited about the beautiful weather. The sun is shining and the sky is clear, signaling a wonderful day ahead for the rest of the day.

You take a deep breath of fresh air and head down the street towards the nearest supermarket.

When you enter a grocery store, you grab a cart and start pushing it through the aisles. You make a mental note not to forget to buy cat food for Chifuyu's pet Pekej. It is important to ensure that everything is ready for his arrival.

You go down different aisles, adding different items to your cart as you go. You focus deeply on the grocery list in your mind.
"Pepper... Milk.. meat.." As you continue to mumble the list of food you need. Suddenly you bump into something or rather someone.
