I'm sitting across from Principal Twomey, listening to him drag on about school rules and expectations, when finally he reaches across the desk to hand me my school time table. It includes the list of all of my classes and teachers, room numbers and everything.

From what i've seen, there's a very high likelihood that I won't have a clue about where to go after I step out of this office. The school is so huge, with classes in different buildings entirely. Tommen College looks like an actual University.

"I do want to let you know some unfortunate news. The grades that you made last year are not up to our standards here at Tommen but because we care about our students-" I fight the urge to roll my eyes at his sentiment, "-we have enrolled you in the graduate class below your current position. This means that you have a second chance to improve your grades and continue your enrollment here. So, really it isn't so much unfortunate, as it is helpful to you."

This is the first thing i've really paid attention to in his long speech. Does this mean i'll be in classes with my friends? Lizzie and Claire.

"So, i'm with the fourth years?" I asked, hoping that's what he meant.

"Yes, you are with the fourth years from here on out."

I nodded but I wished I could jump up and down with excitement.

Once he ushered me out of the door and I was left alone, out in the hallway, I was sure I was going to get lost. Someone, a student, walked down the hall and turned to the right down another hallway. I just followed after her, hoping she would lead me to where everyone else was.

I entered, what I assume, is the common area. It was definitely a step up from BCS. When I stepped further into the room Claire's blonde curls bounced up and down with excitement. I winced, knowing a hug was coming, and I couldn't get out of it.  She spotted me before I could even make it to everyone else, I waved limply to the others, as she engulfed me.

"Sara! Oh my gosh, I never thought I'd see the day!" She wrapped her arms around me and as much as I felt uncomfortable during hugs, she was a pretty good hugger. I guess that goes along with her sunny disposition.

"I know!" I replied, savoring the feeling of her arms around me. One of my oldest friends, she hadn't changed at all.

When I called her last week, she picked up right away, murmuring something to, who I could only assume, was Gerard Gibson. The two were rarely ever apart these days.

"Guess what?" I said, alluding to my big news.

"Oh I love surprises! Let's see...you're moving back to our neighborhood?!"

Claire always hoped I would move back. The neighborhood days was the best time of our friendship. We were all as close as siblings, sleepovers were a regular occurrence, and the girls always got our way over the boys. Claire was outnumbered now, between her brother and Gibsie across the street.

"No, but good guess!" I answered back, smiling to myself.

"Darn! Gerard, what do you think Sara's news is?" I could faintly hear the blonde haired boy in the background, otherwise known as Claire's other half.
