Senna's POV:

The Wild Area was starting to feel like home, with its vast, open landscapes and the endless possibilities of what lay just beyond the horizon. I had spent so much time here building my team, learning from every battle, every challenge. But even though I was stronger, there was still something missing—something I couldn't quite put into words.

Raboot, Rookidee, Fomantis, and Togepi had become my partners, my friends, but I could feel it in my gut: we weren't complete yet. There was one more piece of the puzzle waiting for me, something that would push us to the next level.

I had heard stories of Dreepy, the elusive Dragon/Ghost-type that lived in the wildest, most remote areas of Galar. Dreepy wasn't just any Pokémon—it was a rare find, known for its haunting speed and power when it evolved into Dragapult. Leon had mentioned it in passing once, telling me how hard it was to catch but how worth it the challenge would be.

That was all the motivation I needed.

The journey to the part of the Wild Area where Dreepy was said to roam was long and treacherous, but my team and I were ready for it. We had trained hard for moments like this, and I knew that finding Dreepy would be more than just adding a powerful Pokémon to my team—it would be a test of everything I had learned so far.

Raboot trotted beside me, his sharp eyes scanning the misty surroundings. The fog here was thick, almost eerie, and I could barely see a few feet ahead. Rookidee flew above, his keen vision cutting through the mist as he searched for any signs of movement. Togepi and Fomantis stayed close, their trust in me unwavering, even in the face of the unknown.

Hours passed as we trekked through the dense fog, the silence around us growing heavier with each step. But then, out of the corner of my eye, I saw it—a flash of green and red, darting through the mist like a ghost.

My heart leapt into my throat. "That's it," I whispered. "Dreepy."

I crouched low, signaling to my team to stay quiet. Dreepy was known for its speed and elusiveness—if we made one wrong move, it could disappear before we even had the chance to battle.

Raboot stayed close, his flames flickering softly as we moved toward the spot where I had seen Dreepy. I could feel my pulse quickening, the excitement building with every step.

Then, suddenly, the mist parted, and there it was—a small, ghostly figure hovering just above the ground, its long, wispy tail swaying in the air. Dreepy.

It was even more elusive than I had imagined, its eerie glow almost blending with the mist around it. But there was something captivating about it, something that made me feel like this was the Pokémon I had been searching for all along.

"Raboot," I whispered, my voice steady but full of anticipation. "Let's do this."

The moment Raboot stepped forward, Dreepy turned to face us, its large, glowing eyes narrowing with focus. It let out a soft, ghostly cry, and I could feel the tension in the air shift. This wasn't going to be an easy battle.

"Start with Flame Charge!" I called, my heart pounding.

Raboot's feet ignited with flames as he charged toward Dreepy, but the Dragon-type was fast—faster than anything we had faced before. It darted through the air, dodging Raboot's attack with ease, its ghostly form almost vanishing into the mist.

I clenched my fists, my pulse quickening. "Stay calm. Use Double Kick!"

Raboot adjusted quickly, spinning in the air to deliver two swift kicks, but again, Dreepy evaded, its movements fluid and unpredictable.

This wasn't just a test of strength—it was a test of patience and precision.

"Wait for the right moment," I muttered to myself, watching Dreepy closely as it hovered just out of reach. It was taunting us, waiting for us to make a mistake.

And then, I saw it. The flicker of hesitation in Dreepy's movements—the brief moment where it hovered a little too close to the ground.

"Now, Raboot! Use Ember!"

Raboot unleashed a burst of flames, this time catching Dreepy off guard. The flames connected, and Dreepy let out a startled cry, its ghostly form flickering as it hovered lower to the ground.

"Great job, Raboot!" I called, feeling the excitement surge through me. "Now, let's finish this—Poké Ball, go!"

With a swift motion, I hurled the Poké Ball toward Dreepy. It hit the Dragon-type with a soft thud, enveloping it in a flash of red light before falling to the ground.

It wobbled once. Twice.

Then, with a soft click, the ball stilled.

For a moment, I just stood there, my heart pounding in my chest. We had done it. Dreepy was ours.

I walked over to the Poké Ball, picking it up with trembling fingers. Dreepy—the elusive Dragon I had been searching for—was now a part of our team.

I felt a surge of pride swell in my chest as I looked at my team, who had been with me every step of the way. This was more than just a victory—it was the final piece of our puzzle. The piece that would take us to the next level.

Back at camp, I released Dreepy from its Poké Ball, watching as the ghostly figure hovered just above the ground. Dreepy blinked up at me with those wide, curious eyes, and I could see the strength hiding beneath its shy demeanor.

Raboot approached Dreepy, his usual fiery confidence tempered by curiosity. Togepi and Fomantis gathered around as well, while Rookidee perched on a nearby branch, keeping a watchful eye on our newest teammate.

Dreepy hovered quietly, its eyes flicking between me and the rest of the team. For a moment, it seemed unsure, like it didn't know if it belonged. But then, Raboot nudged it gently, offering a warm, friendly chirp, and I saw Dreepy relax just a little.

I smiled, feeling the warmth of the moment settle in. This was my team—complete, strong, and ready for whatever came next.

But even as I celebrated the capture of Dreepy, I knew that my journey wasn't over yet. The Wild Area had been my training ground, but there was a whole world out there waiting for me.
