The following day Zoya started reflecting on everything that happened yesterday. The conversation with Shan about what happened with Drew in Philly and the argument with Monet that had backfired when Monet revealed she knew Zoya was looking through her photos. Zoya felt guilty for invading Monet's privacy, especially after everything Monet had done to save her from the awful sex tape debacle. Zoya thought the best way to make amends and hopefully move on from the embarrassing confession she made yesterday was to show her gratitude to Monet by giving her a thoughtful gift. Zoya grabs a notepad and starts a list of things she knew Monet loved like Kusmi tea from France and the Bader Rich face cream she noticed Monet puts on after gym class. As she scrolls through Monet's Instagram, she notices a photo of Monet eating a Mochinut donut. Only Monet could get away with taking a picture with food and still look captivating. Zoya can't help but remember her conversation with Monet yesterday and her initial response to the confession of thinking how beautiful and sexy Monet was. "Which one was your favorite? The one of my ass or me laying on the beach chair topless?" She started to daydream about those photos before realizing she needed to focus on her task. She adds Mochinut Donuts to the list and continues doing research. She finds online an editorial spread on an older issue of Vanity Fair covering the de Haan family and their 40-acre beach house. She looks at the picture of the entire de Haan family posing inside the home. She reads a section of the article with a quote from Monet saying her favorite thing about coming to Martha's Vineyard is waking up to the smell of fresh lemon lavender scones and eating them in the morning with her grandmother. Zoya immediately started searching for the best lemon lavender scone recipe.

The next morning Zoya spent hours perfecting the recipe, putting her heart and soul into the intricate details of the scones to ensure they would come out perfect. She used the freshest ingredients, selecting only the finest culinary-grade lavender and juicy lemons. While baking the scones, the smell of lemon and lavender filled her kitchen, and she knew Monet would enjoy them. Once the scones were done, she packed them carefully in a basket with a detailed note in an envelope and headed to Monet's place.

The de Haan's butler answered when Zoya arrived and led her upstairs. She was mesmerized by the grandeur of the place. The entrance was a vast open space with polished marble floors and intricate chandeliers hanging from the high ceilings. The staircase led to the upper level, where she could see more magnificent artwork and sculptures. The butler led Zoya to the de Haan's sitting room, where Monet sat on the couch going through her phone while her dogs sat obediently. Zoya quietly walked towards her, intimidated by how poised Monet looked in this luxurious setting.

Monet looked up to see Zoya; her initial reaction was not what Zoya expected. "Ew. Who gave you my address?"

"No one; I remember the location when you dropped me off in front of your house." Monet stares in confusion. "When I shared a ride with you the other day? You made me take the bus, so I had to use Google Maps on how to get home from here?" Zoya clarifies.
