E-X7A Plasma Pistol

A custom-made powerful plasma pistol used by The Traveler.

The E-X7A in one of the good futures of Humanity was a highly sought-after weapon amongst the governments of the world due to its sheer power despite is expensiveness. The many that managed to get a standard issue version of it were satisfied, but its overall power was limited. This hand-crafted version, however, had its destructive potential set to the max, and with great care and money, it was created for and taken by the Traveler. With easy modifications via accessories and the benefits of the ease of handling, small size, and raw power, it is one of the Traveler's go-to ranged weapons of choice.

The custom-made E-X7A Plasma Pistol is an incredibly deadly weapon. It has a little weight to it, and its grip is in an unusual 120 degrees angle with the barrel, but its small carrying size gives it an ease of access and its sheer destructive potential is enough to blow apart any body part with a single shot. It is infamously known to completely destroy a dragon's skull, their upper body, or limbs with a single shot. Its ammo is also technically limitless, as it uses a plasma-based energy core for the bolts within the frame. The E-X7A Modification Kit could also increase the capabilities of the weapon, either to condense the bolts for piercing capabilities, add a cooling system to stop overheating, to fire a stream of plasma, or multiple bolts at once in the form of a shotgun. Given that the Traveler has an affinity for ranged weapons like these, toying with him holding this would be a fatal mistake.

Despite the great power of such a small weapon, it is not a great option for prolonged engagements. The weapon can fire off multiple shots with no fire rate cap, but the base frame and barrel are prone to overheating from excessive shots. If too many shots are fired without such a consideration, the core could overload and explode if not used in moderation. The base bolts also have limited piercing capabilities, which requires the Modification Kit to alleviate. The Kit also removes the raw power of the base weapon in exchange for a cooling system to prevent overheating and condensing the bolts for more focused projectiles.
