It was finally the new year and I've been a CEO for 2 months now.
About a week after my father asked me to take over his company, I agreed to.
I had to tell my members that I wouldn't be in the group anymore. That was the hardest part for me.
They were my family.
They were sad but they were also happy that I could possibly save my father's company.
I did tell them that if they ever needed anything. I'm only one call away.
Now that I'm CEO, I had a lot of stuff to fix when I got here. I had to fire a lot of people and interview people for positions on the marketing and management team. That process took the whole two months that I've been here.
Now that my marketing and management teams are complete. I have to focus on the most important people now.
The only two trainees that are under the company.
I must convince them to not leave.
I called them up to my office. This will be the first time I meet them.
About 10 minutes later there was a knock on my door.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK‼️
YS: come in.
The door open revealing to young looking boys.
YS: hey boys, it's finally nice to meet you both.
"Nice to meet you as well."
"Nice to meet you."
YS: take a seat.
They both took a seat in front of my desk.
YS: first off, my name is YoungSook and I'm the CEO of the company now. I'm the founders son. My father has officially retired, but that doesn't mean that he won't be around. He'll always pop in here and there to make sure everything is going smoothly. Any questions for me?
One of the boys raised their hands.
YS: yes
"Aren't you Lim YoungSook from MELDZ?
YS: yes I am. I smiled at him.
"omg, I love MELDZ. Can I have your autograph?"
YS: sure.
I took a pin and a note card out of my desk and signed it with my signature. I placed the note card in front of him.
"Thank you."
He said with a big smile.
YS: you welcome. Now how about you guys introduce yourself.
"Okay. I'll go first."
The taller one said
"Hello, my name is Lee Minjae. I'm 20 years old and I've been training here for about 2 years now."
He hit the other boys shoulder.
"Oh, hello my name is Han Sungmin. I'm 19 years old and I've also been training here for about 2 years."
YS: okay! It's nice to meet you both.
"Nice to meet you too."
YS: the first I want to do is thank you both for not leaving company. I know my father has probably told you that he always wanted to make a boy group.
Minjae: yes he has.
YS: well I'm going to make happen. I don't how, but I will. If I'm able to get a boy group up and running and you two decide to stay with the company. You will be guaranteed a spot in the debut lineup, but you have to train your butts off. Prove to me and the staff that you are ready. You guys understand?
"Yes sir."
They said in sync.
YS: alrighty you guys can go back to your training now. Talk to you later.
They bowed and walked out of the office.
Alright now I have a meeting with the teams today. Let's go.
30 minutes later
All of staff members of both the marketing team and management team were in the meeting room.
YS: ladies and gentlemen listen up.
They all went quiet.
YS: just about 30 minutes ago, I talked to Minjae and Sungmin. I told them about possibly making a boy group. Well I want to make that official.
YS: I want to make the next big boy group. I want them to be better than any other group in history. I want to put this company on the map. If you disagree with me then please say something now.
BaekHyeon who is the head of the marketing raised his hand.
YS: yes?
BaekHyeon: what did you tell Minjae and Sungmin? Are they already apart of the group.
YS: I told Minjae and Sungmin, if they continue to work hard and perform to the best of their abilities during their monthly evaluation that they both have a guaranteed spots in the debut lineup.
Haeun who is apart of the management raised her hand.
YS: yes ma'am?
Haeun: how many members do you want in this group or how many contestants are going to accept because if it's over 20 we need to start looking for dormitories.
YS: I'm looking into possibly accepting no more than 25 contestants. All 25 contestants including Minjae and Sungmin making that 27 will train for a spot in the debut lineup. Now let's go over the slideshow.
